We must teach our kids that they cannot dare to do something, even though it is legal. We must make up pretend laws to fit our social objectives even though such laws dn not actually exist and might even be unconstitutional if the legislature tried to implement them.

It appears that the United States will need to hold Sherman's spirit in reserve as the defeated ghosts of traitors against the Union think they can rise again.

Our state is still being "boycotted" by the NAACP because we have the confederate flag on the capital grounds. It used to be on top of the capital building but too many complaints so they moved it to the grounds. Still not good enough. It's history. Nothing more or nothing less.

Actually no body is paying attention to the NAACP on the subject. Its actually amusing! If ya'll decide to move here i don't think you would regret it. Beautiful State! Very nice people. I live in Charleston but anywhere to the midlands (Columbia the capital) to the upstate (Greenville) are great cities. The only thing i would do is to look into the rating of the school district you will be residing in. Some are not that great. That is if you have children of course. funny as in strange, how the Flag of today minus the stars had slavery under it for many more years then the Confederate flag. Guess the school officials need to learn history.

Here in Pennsylvania it is well known that flying the Confederate flag is code for gay sex. Gay people who wanna hook up with other gay people have adopted the flag as there "I'm available" symbol.
