That used to happen to a family members dog after Thanksgiving dinner. When you find a piece of shit along side the road and you poke it with a stick, what do you expect to find inside of it, gold? No, it's just going to stink more. |

A cat will eat too fast and toss it back on your floor. Cats food bowls should not be kept where they eat, it should only be placed there at feeding time during the day and with only the proper amount of food in it. It may be hard at first, but cats are stubborn and pig headed.. if you give them an inch they take a mile. Care for your cat the correct way, or you will be in for heartache far too soon. |

I put them on cat food that has meat as the main ingredient - not meal or corn - and they did SO much better. I sent the kids to the store and they bought cheap crap and the cats get sick again. I'm convinced our kitties bellies cannot handle corn or meal very well. |

He could be throwing up because something is not healthy within the cat, not because he wants to keep eating. I know that sounds like a nice plausible excuse but I think there is more going on inside CAT DOOM! Last Edited by RandomAccess on 09/11/2014 08:43 PM |

Feed him half a cup once in the morning. Let him eat it. If he pukes, let him. But don't feed him again until the next morning. It sounds like his problem stems from being overfed. Regardless, I hope he gets better. :smokin1: |

Good advice. My moms friend has an obese cat... she puts him on special food, gives him meds, does all kinds of crap. The one thing she won't do? Feed him less. We all love our cats. But over-feeding them will only harm them in the long run. Last Edited by Stoned Goddess on 09/11/2014 08:44 PM :smokin1: |

Either way, like other posters have suggested, you may want to take him in to the vet and have some bloodwork done at the very least. He could be diabetic or a host of other problems. If that doesn't figure things out, you may be looking at some more expensive testing/scans to see if he's got something going on anatomically. Poor dude. As an animal lover, I know how frustrating it can be when they get sick - they can't tell you what's wrong or different. It makes diagnosis a bitch sometimes. |
