Father proud of daughter's name, says ISIS being misused

A 3-year-old Happy Valley girl is the furthest thing from a terrorist organization.

Yet her name, Isis, is the same name that’s become interchangeable with ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Her father, David Emami, can’t stand how regularly his daughter’s name is being misused.

“They start to wear on you a little bit,” Emami said. “It's kind of mentally draining and especially when you know it's the inaccurate term.”

Emami says he’s heard people go beyond teasing his daughter.
