British Invasion! Plague of Giant House Spiders Set to Infest Homes

Had loads of spiders in the house over the last month or two. Mostly smallish ones. I pick them up and put them out the window but the little buggers bolt straight back in again!

Seen a couple of big boys. They get a glass put over them and a bit of cardboard slipped in underneath and taken to the bottom of the garden for release.

I have noticed larger than average spiders (sorry no pics), but fortunately my kittens have a good grasp of the situation.

Spiders don't really bother me.
They keep the ants, earwigs, moths and assorted vermin(the ones that do bother me) in check.
Probably 100 or more spiders in my basement at any given time.
They're welcome here, but I do get tired of the cobwebs.

I found one so big that a Pint glass would not fit over it. I had to scare it, so its legs retracted in fear, then glass it.

Practically had to arm-wrestle the bugger.

Yes, my cat also has a good handle on the buggers, he hears them crawling in the next room. He's a great spider eliminator.

you realise that there are people reading this in Brazil and Australia saying, thats's not a spider, THIS is a spider mate.



I always get the job of catching and throwing out the house spiders, we see them every Autumn. This year I have found one of these aggressive ( but harmless ) green fanged funnel web spiders in the bedroom.

just found one today after coming back from hols big one I hate spiders

And right on cue a great big wolf spider ran up to me. Captured and relocated to a pot outside.

For a nation of former Christians that have now rejected God, it would not surprise me a bit and probably much more judgement to come, especially the barbarian Muslim hoards taking your country over by force in the near future.

Right, you do know we are talking about little harmless hairy spiders that scuttle across your floor when you are watching TV not plagues of locusts or rivers of blood?

Personally, I would not squish spiders. They can actually be very nice creatures!

It would help if they are vegetarian spiders who drink fruit juice or something like that, but good for protection.

Weirdly enough just got rid of one in the kitchen and it was pretty big. We're getting rid of at least 2 a day at the moment. More than over the last few years!
