Raymond Lemme was found dead of an apparent suicide two weeks after confiding that he "had tracked the corruption 'all the way to the top'".

His suicide note is sparse, but the words he chose to underline are "family" and "I love you (Mary Ann)". I believe he was forced to kill himself under threat of harm to his family.
