The tax is $.75 per dose of each taxable vaccine. The tax per dose on a vaccine that contains more than one taxable vaccine is $.75 times the number of taxable vaccines.

Taxable use. Any manufacturer (including a governmental entity) that uses a taxable vaccine before it is sold will be liable for the tax in the same manner as if the vaccine was sold by the manufacturer.

Same thing happened to my mother a few years back. She was a transcriptionist for the main hospital on this side of the state. She didn't even work in the hospital, she worked in a building with no patients or even anyone that had contact with them. The only way she could get out of it was if she got a statement from her doctor saying she couldn't get one for medical reasons. She quit over it. They basically force everyone to get one.

A friend of mine lies paralyzed as I type this. She's been fighting GBS that she got from a flu shot for the past year. It knocked her down to the point of needing a ventilator for quite some time. She may not walk again.

Yes, there is ! Duh! They probably want women to get it early in pregnancy so that when the fetus dies it will seem like a normal miscarriage, whereas if the woman is 6 months along when it happens it's very easy to connect it to the flu shot she just had.

Never had a flu shot and neither have my kids. And though we have gotten sick from time to time we have never had a full out flu. Or at least I don't believe so. Many people don't understand that a cold and the flu are two different things.

Anyway, my old pediatrician would get bent out of shape every time I refused to get my kids the flu shot. I would remind him that I had never had to lug them in to the office because they caught the flu and he would get even more bent out of shape. I've built up their immune systems with good ole going out side to play, proper nutrition, personal hygiene and not allowing them to become addicted to hand sanitizer. Flu shot? For what? No thanks.

And if someone in my family does happen to get sick we deal with it like my ancestors did. Lots of fluids, rest and homemade chicken soup.

I don't get shots, and I don't get the flu. I think I built up immunities since my birth, the old fashioned, God given way.

You should continue to get your shots though, since you haven't had a chance to build up any immunities the natural way. Without the shots you may be truly fucked.

I get a mandatory flu shot every year, and very year I get the flu AND or a terrible head cold within two or three weeks. This is ongoing for 13 years now.
