I certainly concur with the sentiments of The TAO. This thread really resonates with my personal feelings. Our people in the Western Civilization had certainly done a lot of damage to the innocent peoples of other nations. After the Industrial Revolution, we forcibly pried open their doors and robbed them blind. We introduced opium and western vices into their societies. Our yellow and pop culture did immense damage to their innocent traditions.

Economically we wrought immense damage with our mercantilist practices. Politically we introduced hidden agenda under the guise of sham freedom and toxic democracy, supporting the well connected ruling class to subdue the real freedom fighters. Our gunship diplomacy and piracy robbed them of their national esteem.

The pendulum is swinging back. The East have been magnanimous so far, but our Western people with our wanton appetite for unfair advantage, mischief making aimed at degrading others and unbridled greed at not helping in restoring balance and harmony. We poke the Russian Bear and lob darts at the Dragon. If we only sit down and think unbiasedly at our actions we must realize how magnanimous and forbearing the East has been so far.

Coming close to the 2016-2017 timeline, their Earth friendly cultures ( without our western self aggrandizing chest thumping ) and natural justice will prevail. It will then be a bit too late to feel sorry for ourselves. The TAO has certainly succeeded in planting seeds of awareness, unlightenment and inner self realization for many readers of GLP and LOP. LET THE SEEDLINGS NOW BLOOM.
