Totally premodated-- earlier accounts just have him driving from the HR building where he was fired and directly back to the production plant and grabbing a knife from a workbench. No. He drove all the way home to get the knife, then back to the plant

He immediately confessed fully to the beheading and attempted beheading of another woman

This was not a crime of passion within a moment or two totally premeditated.

Why didn't he chop off his own head?

A person who wasn't born speaking arabic, speaking during the attacks right after having some conversations lately about stoning women and beheading people, leads me to believe his religion had something to do with this attack.

Also, the fact that he stated he hates white people before the attack, leads me to believe he's a racist.

There should be about 3 hate crimes on top of murder to charge him with (women, religion, and race)...but, that won't happen...work place violence.

I have said many times the radical muslims have a standing army of over 200,000 IN THE USA fed, clothed and housed by the taxpayers. They get topnotch medical care, gyms to work out and beef up and dont have to work so they can recite the Koran all day and radicalize each other.

My inclination is to agree with you. It's actually pretty hard to behead someone, especially without the right kind of blade. Executioners in the Middle Ages were prized for their ability to cleanly cut off heads, and they used axes or swords. The condemned would pay the executioner an amount to ensure he did a really clean job the first time. You can't just cut off somebody's head with the average butcher knife (or steak knife that Isis seems to favor in their videos). So I'm inclined to think there's some propaganda embellishment here too.

Actually, owning knives/daggers is a right of passage in most Arab societies so using one to cut off a head just kind of goes with the territory.

It is more than capable of cutting through bone and its curved blade is great for hooking the neck and cutting at the same time. It has a two-sided blade for just that kind of task.

And in reality it does not matter if someone dies from a stab wound to the throat or the severing of the head

But one thing to bear in mind is that this was at a food processing and distribution plant. People employed there worked with knives and chopped things up, sliced and diced them efficiently. He may have experience cutting meat. I don't know but it is a huge possibility at a food processing plant

The very first report -- which I read right when it came out - said "stabbing" and mentioned only one victim. It was a preliminary and incomplete report.

I happened to pay attention to it because it was nearby AND because we had just had another separate unrelated "big news" shooting / stabbing in the area (domestic - ex boyfriend breaks in, attacks woman with knife, 11 yr old daughter shoots guy stabbing her mom)

It was like the Wild West around Moore OK last week!
