With all this Ebola talk it got me thinking...
When I was young I had alot of health problems. Truth be told, no doctor could really figure out what or why.
Once I got over those issues I would regularly have a cold up to 3 times a year and sometimes some stomach issues. I would usually take several days off work to recover.
Now that I have 'tweaked' my nutrition - including supplements - I no longer get sick. No colds, no stomach problems, NOTHING. Heck, I don't even take sick days!
I am surrounded by people at work who are constantly getting sick including coughing in my presence. A few months ago, over 3/4 of our staff were away with either the flu or some other condition. When my boss asked why I wasn't also sick I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled.
I am not claiming that any supplement I list is the cause of my 'bad ass' immune system, but here it is for those who might benefit from the same approach. This is on top of a diet that eschews sugar, carbohydrates - basically anything processed and focuses on fresh fruits/veges and low dairy intake.
Supplements I take per day:
1500mg Vit C. (500mg at a time)
250 mcg Iodine.
6000 iu Vitamin D3 (1000iu at a time)
2 Tbl. spoons Tumeric powder.
Iodine is especially important! You may be Iodine deficient and never realize it - and asking your doctor won't help lol! Symptoms include lethargy and lack of energy etc. As always do some research before deciding if supplementation is right for you.
