Boy, that sounds just like that other country who recently inflicted "Mass Punishment on a whole people". You remember, don't you? It was in Afghanistan and Iraq. It happened not that long ago. Damn, I almost had it.

The international legal definition for it coming out of the Nuremberg trials is called "collective punishment". Under currently existing international law, ,it is a war crime. What is happening now in Lebanon and in Gaza for that matter...is collective punishment.

The irony is that Israel could be prosecuted by the same laws that brought Hitlers gang to justice.

Re: Robert Fisk in Beirut: Israeli Assault on Lebanon Inflicting "Mass Punishment on a Whole People"
Robert Fisk : "they totally relied upon the cruelty of Israel's response."

I am sorry, but Robert is making Israel again a victim, this time a victim of it's own cruelty.

Why does Robert Fisk not see all the provocations coming from Israel ? I am sorry, but Robert Fisk is losing rapidly my respect. Again, i am sorry...

Bye.
