Re: DALLAS- Ebola contact Youngor Jallah told she doesn't have to isolate any longer
I don't get these people. Sounds like they are only concerned only with themselves. If I had any contact with someone with this shit I would quarentine my damn self. I honestly could not live with myself If I spread a deadly disease around. Why would she take this chance? Why are they acting like victims? They KNEW there was the possibility that Duncan could drag this shit over here. I sure as fu*k wouldn't be complaining about having to be quarentined. Have any of his family been concerned about potential innocent people that may have been infected due to their negligence? I didn't think so...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15690579

They are only concerned with themselves which is WHY this thing is running effing rampant in W. Africa. Think of the pregnant woman whose family said she died in a car accident instead of TELLING the truth so others wouldn't get infected...because oh, the stigma.

The stigma of KILLING people because you didn't quarantine or fully disclose!!! WTH!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62484284

Oh boy. I didn't even know about the pregnant woman. So much info is coming out lately it's hard to keep up. But, that's my point. My god, I would WANT people to know and to stay far far away from me. I sure as he'll wouldn't be concerned with my "hurt feelings". Idk, this whole thing is nuts. I live right outside Fort Worth so I guess it's got me on edge a little bit.

Dallas manhunt for homeless man who rode in ambulance after Duncan:

They placed him in psych ward:

"He exhibited clear indicators that he needed to be taken to the psych ward," Jenkins told News 8.

[link to www.wfaa.com]

While they were looking for him they said this:
"Officials repeatedly emphasized that they simply wanted to find the man so that he could taken to a "comfortable and compassionate place" during the 21-day monitoring period that follows possible exposure to the Ebola virus"

"On Sunday afternoon, Lively was located near NorthPark Center. He was initially dressed in street clothes. He was escorted away in full surgical garb and a mask."

But the family that cared for Duncan not required to wear a mask!!

More from article:
"Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings told News 8 that Lively was able to walk away because officials did not have the authority to hold him."

""In America, people are free, and they can do whatever they want," Rawlings said. "We did not have the correct paperwork."

Sources tell News 8 that authorities were working Sunday evening to obtain a control order to prevent Lively from walking away agai
n."

So the correct paperwork is sending his ass to the psych ward. But the family that took care of patient zero gets sent to a gated community and is staying in a 4 bedroom house!!

This is not the way to stop a disease.

More like a war strategy of a sort.

This could be a war to spread the disease.

Or, it could be a psychological warfare strategy. You just have to add the clues, read the background of who is run this game, they would call it a war game, then you will know. If it is psychological it is easier to fight.

It could also turn out they are idiots, which is a worse idea, hard to cure idiots.

Before you slam me, think about it. Of course if you are in the game, you will any way.

Re: DALLAS- Ebola contact Youngor Jallah told she doesn't have to isolate any longer
And the CDC said that in the unlikely event Ebola came to the US they would quickly contain it or stamp it out ir whatever. lol You don't contain ebola by letting even those who are low risk wander around the public. Here's the deal with ebola. The only way to stop it is disruptive and it causes economic ripples. The gov wants to keep importing diseased fucks but it does not want to deal with the reprocussions. What they are doing at this point letting these (possible) bio terrorists wander around the public like this is endangering the public. The gov is trying to downplay the risk of Ebola hoping people won't panic and won't stop spending money and paying taxes but went people get sick because the gov was willy nillly with the exposed people this shit will backfire on the gov big time. It's far better to treat the potentially diseased in a harsh manor (lock down) than do what they are doing sihce at least when the potentially exposed are locked down, even the "low" risk ones, the general public feels safer.

Also I'm tied of these dumb black fucks whining about being stigmatized. Good. They need to be. What kind of stupid do you have to be to knowingly allow someone from a country with an Ebola oitbreak to visit you? There is no way in hell id have allowed it. I don't care who the person was. These idiots need to deal with it and STFU. I guess quarantine because of their fucked up choices is racist though. I'm tired of the US treating blacks with kid gloves because nobody wants to nr racist. I don't want Ebola and I don't want my kids to get it. If that makes me racist then good.

Yup totally. If this thing originated in Sweden I'll bet you the Swedish government themselves would've stopped flights out of their country to protect the rest of the world. But not Africa, no not Africa. They are a culture of selfish imbecilic liars who think the whole world owes them something.

CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! She held his blanket that had fluids on it, this is going against everything we have been told. If I lived in Texas I would not take the sitting down.

They are either doing this for 1 or 2 reasons and no more.

1. they want to spread the disease

2. they freaked up so badly, they are trying to avoid lawsuits, and so is Dallas, especially since Mr. Duncan died because of their negligence. So they are wining and dining them SOON TO 69 them. '

WE ALL SHOULD RIGHT NOW GET TOGETHER AND GO DEMAND SOMETHING BE DONE. ANYONE WITH ME, I CAN'T GO ALONE?

WP and Pat Dollard is the only place I saw reporting this.

Was reading that the home they were moved to is a 4 bedroom with pool on acreage. Doesn't sound like a city lot with people right next door. Could it be that she was told she could go outdoors? Like to the pool or sit outside?

If not, after what the poor woman has been through, it would be a nice gesture is Mr. Obama would invite her and the children to the White House to speak to her and show her around.

In Duncan's case, family members who had close contact with him will be monitored constantly for at least 21 days. That's roughly the maximum amount of time it takes for the disease to break out.

And they are not allowed to leave their living quarters during that time. If any of them gets a fever, he or she will be isolated, Frieden said.

 Quoting: JadeDone

Said since the beginning. This is considered a "national security" issue and information has been suppressed Thursday 5:00PM local time.

From the article:

"Frieden said he does not believe that Duncan has received any experimental medicines that have been used to treat Ebola. And he would not comment on whether another type of experimental treatment — convalescent serum made from the blood of Ebola survivors — is being used to treat Duncan, referring questions to the hospital caring for him. A spokeswoman for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas did not respond to requests for comment"

How would the director of the CDC not know what treatment is being used to treat the first Ebola patient in the US (1st case to be confirmed while in US, not confirmed then brought here).
 Quoting: TeamReaper

That is an excellent question! I can't help but feel that our media and medical system is being bound by extremely threatening gag orders.

Not even close to the 21 day isolation period. wtf

Sept 28 to Oct 5th, what is the CDC playing at?

The article is quite long, about the stigma the family and community is feeling. Both of Troh's daughter are interviewed, Mawhen- the one who picked him up at the airport, and Youngor- the one who cared for him and called the ambulance. The article indicates both daughters have been cleared by the CDC.

[link to www.washingtonpost.com]

Although CDC officials have cleared her, saying it is unlikely she contracted Ebola when she visited her mother’s apartment last week to welcome the man she calls her stepfather, she said she has been shunned.

Jallah said she did not touch Duncan when she greeted him. She said he was sitting in a chair as she said hello from the door of her mother’s bedroom. But she said people do not understand that it is nearly impossible to contract Ebola without touching the bodily fluids of a symptomatic person.

Jallah’s mother has been ordered into isolation by Dallas health officials. Troh was moved Friday from her apartment to an undisclosed house in Dallas, where she remains with her 13-year-old son, Duncan’s cousin and another 20-year-old man. Each had lived in Troh’s apartment, where Duncan stayed.

Troh’s other daughter, Youngor Jallah, 35, who cared for Duncan before calling the ambulance to get him, was told Sunday by CDC officials that she no longer has to isolate herself and her family.

“They came today to say it is okay if I want to go out,” she said.

 Quoting: JadeDone

This is a lie!! Why don't reporters do research any more. Jallah has straight up said that she put and held a blanket around Duncan and was feeding him tea. That was her words just a few days ago. Now she is saying she never touched him. wtf!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62483871

Not that there hasn't been plenty of lying, I believe it is Mawhen Jallah, not Youngor Jallah, who is being quoted here.

They are gambling:

Chance of catastrophic disease spread

VS

Chance of catastrophic impact to economy from people shutting down in panic mode

They're gambling, and they are gambling with human lives vs money

Until this information is confirmed by the CDC, I'm calling bullshit.

This entire family has lied, since before he even left Africa.

Everyday there is a different story.

I find it odd that she is choosing to not go out.

And she is choosing to keep her child home until Oct 17, which just happens to be 21 days.

I think the entire pack of them are liars.
