I heard the same damned thing one time in the 80s, but we were all out camping on a bluff. It sounded like a helicopter but right over me, and it was not as loud.

Spirits/entities etc. (ghosts if you will) can make an audible sound. It's almost the sound of hummingbird wings. I've recorded it many times during evp sessions.

Basically it is the accelerated frequency that you heard.

So what I'm saying is...it's possible you had a spirit standing over you or near you.

Someone is communicating with you.

Makes sense. I've had my kitchen fan turned on twice, my computer screen making noises like if someone is putting pressure on it and I've heard that 'base-ish' sound you'll hear if you blow into a bottle from the right angle.

Also, one time, I had this vision (also while laying in bed) that I had a woman laying next to me. Right before that, I heard whispers saying "so sexy" and stuff like that.
Also when I had the vision, I couldn't move my body and when I noticed this, I started hearing a really loud sound; almost like I was standing next to a storm.
After a few seconds though, I got out of it.

A big attack in the west is coming and the scapegoat will not be ISIS, but Iran. But they know, that there are many people (way tooo much) who will be sceptical after such an attack - so they need another reason for the people, which justifies the coming war against Iran. So the plan is, to destroy two or three isles in the Mediterranean Sea with nukes from the Lebanon, to show the people how cruel Iran is. Of course this sounds absolutely crazy, but those attacks will happen a few, maybe two or three days after, while the people are still in shock, so they will believe everything. Yes. A couple of weeks ago (this was several weeks after the events in this thread), I was (once again) laying in bed but I couldn't sleep (mentioned this in another thread of mine, but not that I'm about to say now); I was thinking way to much and was filled with energy, so I sat up.

Close to my bed, I have a small table on which, at the time, there was a glass on. I could hear it emit a sound; almost as it were about to shatter. I then got up, walked to my kitchen to get some water.
On my way there, I passed one of my kitchen chairs which moved when I got close. Just enough so I could hear that 'scraping' noise.
