Do you have more empathy for animals or humans?

Really? No one has an opinion on this? I find it so profoundly sad.

Animals are pure and uncorrupted in their nature, which is why many people feel it is uncalled for and horrible when bad things happen to them. Man is corrupted and "self-aware" or perceptually aware, meaning that when he does "good" or "Bad", he is knowledgeable of the two and makes a choice. This choice is what corrupts man, because choice isn't always right, but truly "right" is in the eye of the beholder. It's easier to answer this with an example.

Scenario: A small kitten is casually walking down the street when a human comes by and steps on it without reason and kills it.

Scenario: A small human is casually walking down the street when another human comes by and steps on it without reason, and kills it.

I feel the same sympathy, though the man who killed the other man will be held to the standard of taking away an intelligent life versus just destroying a creature. I probably am not answering this correctly, but I'm at work and scatterbrained. I see no difference, though I cry more for the innocent animals versus the corrupted non-innocent humans. But in either of the above scenarios I would fight to defend the creature in question, regardless of a cat or human.

Hitler loved animals, so much so that he was a vegetarian. I have empathy for both animals and humans. For one to have empathy only for one deeply concerns me.

Others feelings don't really effect you anyways, what difference does it make if someone cares more about animals than humans, or vice versa? Unless someone is harming either one, I don't see the issue here.

Animals because they don't have the resources that we do.

I'm actually against caging up animals in apartments and letting them play with toxic toys made of plastic and feeding them GMO corn and soy products.

So you see, that is how cruel humans are to take tiny creatures, kidnap them from their natural environment, over breed and sell them to other humans for their own selfish enjoyment.

I love animals and other creatures so much that I can't even kill the bedbugs in my apartment. humans piss me off all the time.

I'm partial to innocence. Intentional cruelty sickens me. Greed, selfishness and opulent indulgence at the expense of others disgust me. Do I judge? Perhaps. I cannot deny these feelings.

Kids, elderly, Dogs, horses, cattle, then humans.

Although I lose a lot of empathy for braggarts/showy people for some reason. And sociopaths, forget it, they can rot. But in general I care a lot about humans.

I love animals, but if I had to choose between rescuing an animal or a human, say from a burning building, I'd choose the human being.

This is an interesting question. There is sort of a point where I think people just see the life and love everywhere. It is easier to feel for animals though because people should know better than to do some things.

when I think about all those animals sitting in labs, being poisoned slowly to death or given AIDS, or cancer, or any one of hundreds of horrible diseases, and no God ever comes and does anything, just lets them suffer in torment for years sometimes while insane scientists 'study' their suffering, when I think about that I realize there is no God, no benevolent god anyways.

The only god is the one of this world and it is an evil god, and we need not respect it on any level, fuck god or whatever it is and fuck everyone who seeks god's favors, tries to appease this mother fucker so they can get rich, or get sex, or get away with murder.


Everyday you all go about your business and allow these things to happen, everyday on the nightly news these drug companies advertise their stupid drugs for you to get an erection, and do animal testing on millions of animals and the world is just full of apathetic, soulless morons who don't care, I have no empathy for these humans whatsoever.

I believe God is having blacks breed them out of existence because of this and turn them all into fags because of this horrorible sinfulness. He is leading them into absolute, eternal destruction. At least blacks cannot create inventions of evil, no blacks ever kept animals in labs to give them AIDS and torture them for over a decade just to see what happens.

But even if that was true, God is punishing these people, why not just save the animals, why so focused on punishing the sinners, why not just help the animals rather than focus on punishing the sinners and allowing the sin to continue? nothing makes any sense, there is no god but there is a satanic entity that controls the human psyche.

I would save the human as well, ideally both. If I only managed to save the human I would hope and wonder if I made the right choice.

I think most people are a lost cause. I dont even like to socialize anymore. Id rather stay home with my animals.

I can relate. I have a great network of close friends and family, being in a public setting is predictably nauseating.

My mom always told me that it's an old Ukrainian tradition to protect spiders. I do. Never have killed one.

thats all good and well, but i kill them on sight, they are deadly, dying from a black widow bites is supposed to be a horrible and painful death. and a brown recluse rots your flesh away to the bone.
