I don't think there was a hard number from what I have been able tell from my studies. There was a guideline that was around 12 but they often could be taking as early as 9 or even younger if they were high value (sort of like breeding horses) or the whims and influence of the man was strong enough.

Street Faire changed their setup time to tonight instead of tomorrow morning. So I have to drive all the way down tonight just to setup. And then drive back and drive down again in the morning. Adds several hours to my workload.

I'm not sure how much sexual intercourse has to do with 'Love'. People would certainly like to think so though.

It would be smooth and lacquer shiny but still look like rough cut.

I like the top link better. Unless her decor is really rustic, she may have a hard time buying other pieces that match look.

Sure, I'm covered in saw dust at the moment but ill upload some of the pics ppl have sent me of the pieces in their homes and some of my recent ones and a couple I kept for myself.

I don't really think 'love' comes into play very often with intercourse. Lustful love turns into companionship love over time, more often than not.

Sexual energy is sparked. It can be sparked by what we see, hear, feel, taste, smell, etc.

The spark can be caused from self, a movie, song, stranger, friend, lover, etc..

Doesn't need to have any 'love' involved and often isn't.

That is why porn is so popular to my sense and why prostitution is the 'oldest profession'.

That's a good idea. Soften the feel of it. I've been playing with the white wash and gray board lately anyways. Ill make a mock up of a rough cut that way and see how it feels.

Your baskets would do great at craft and garden shows. You could fill them flowers and what not.

All of your pieces would, but the larger ones would be hard to transport.

If you ever want any advice on how to jury for art shows, let me know. It's hard work but not uncommon to pull at least a couple thousand in 2 days.

I'm waiting until I have at least a hundred pieces before a show like that. They sell too fast now to do that. Between the internet, a few local shops I just give them a price they can double and we split the profit, and old customers/ word of mouth I stay pretty busy.

The baskets and shelves are the work horse money makers, the big pieces fetch a good price but anywhere from 1-10 days to complete myself.

Those baskets in the pic are already boxed up for the mail.
