Have an attitude of gratitude and you'll get rich

I have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I have a wonderful job doing what I love to do, and that job has opened up a lucrative business opportunity. Four months ago, I was unemployed in Arizona, one of the worst states for people looking for work. But I did not focus on my lack of income and the mounting bills. I looked at my joblessness as an opportunity to finally do what I always wanted to do--write. I was grateful for the opportunity, and for my talent. I applied for various writing and editing jobs and searched the internet. That's how I found out about how to make money freelancing for examiner.com and that's how I found out about my current editing job. The gratitude I now feel is greater than what I felt when I was unemployed, and the opportunities and income are greater.
