4 Flight Attendants and 2 Pilots for Frontier on 21 Day Paid Leave

I'm just waiting for a passenger or crew member to come down with this....will just prove it IS airborne.

They say the plane has been cleaned and the seat covers and
carpet near Vinson's seat will be removed.

Dang theyre lucky.....well as long as they dont have ebola that is.

This latest flight could be an indicator....if they bother to tell us and don't hide it.

I just got off the phone with a flight attendant friend who is still employed. (I retired years ago.) She said she just flew a Brussels to Newark flight, and the plane is full of people from West Africa...men, women, kids....

Don't even want to imagine how she must feel or how she must dread going into work each day. It's a great time to be retired from that job!

She said she is not going to bid for those trips from Brussels again. I'm going to a retirees'/employees' social/meeting in a few hours, and I'm anxious to hear how others feel about the situation.

I do know that several of my facebook friends are complaining about the entire situation...and that some airlines are still flying out of Liberia to BRU, and they have to fly those trips from Brussels to the USA. They have no choice!

You might want to pass on that meeting. I would ask a friend for the minutes from the meeting afterward. To be emailed to you of course.

Wow. They might need to join the nurses in protesting. Hope you let us know what you find out.

The minutes of meetings are emailed to us every month, but it's a small retiree group....a social/charity organization, not company-business, so we won't discuss Ebola except as chit-chat. A few flight attendants, who are still working, attend, also. I get most of my info from my F/A friends on facebook. They're upset, but feel they have to work or lose their job. If you want to see what the union has to say about it...just go to AFA....Association of Flight Attendants.

I just got an email from them...The flight attendants can use gloves for protection in coach/economy, but not in first class.

Stupid, huh?

Flight attendants usually don't have much influence on company matters or protests. Pilots...YES! Their ALPA (union) site isn't accessible, so I can't see if their discussing the matter.
