Also, Loudon Inova refusing to test inmate with fever. LUBBOCK, TX -- EMS, a hazmat team and University Medical Center initiated a “patient isolation protocol” after responding to the report of sick person about 9:15 a.m. Thursday near Zenith Avenue and East Auburn Street. EMS personnel, firefighters and even animal control officers were all required to undergo decontamination procedures at the scene. The UMC spokesman said the specific symptoms of the patient were not publicly available yet but he also said there was enough information about symptoms and/or travel history to initiate the protocol.police were blocking off traffic and people were not being allowed into the area near the home Thursday morning. Also, Loudon Inova refusing to test inmate with fever. @AshClasterFox34: Possible #Ebola patient in isolation at UMC. Symptoms include nausea, diarrhea and flu-like symptoms. No fever. Possibly a young male. (I'm guessing it's the diarrhea and travel from Ivory Coast. At least there's no fever.) Gabriella |

Also, Loudon Inova refusing to test inmate with fever. his uncle is there with the Fire Dept Hazmat team at UMC & has been told patient was IN Africa 7 days ago. Wondering now if related to the person last night in Amarillo BSA who cause ER room lockdown because she had been around someone whose been to Africa in last 10 days. Lubbock is only 115 miles straight shot on I-27, from Amarillo. |

Also, Loudon Inova refusing to test inmate with fever. This is scary as crap. I work at a large University in NC with a medical campus and we had someone present with symptoms this morning and had just been in africa. They went into full isolation/quarantine mode and locked down. We just got a negative result. But it scared the crap out of all of us. I hope this ends up negative as well. |

Doing everything they can to lie to the public about it being airborne. Gabriella |
