Just a thought... Just a hypothesis... Whether real or not, could the government use this Ebola scare to 'ban' all physical currency?
Who would want to handle cash/coin when it may potentially be carrying the deadly disease?
I haven't heard this anywhere in the media -- I'm just trying to think outside the box and see potential outcomes before they happen...
Of course, a cashless society would require some form of either an electronic national/global ID or a biochip implant that will keep track of how much currency everyone is worth...
Kind of a scary thought.

My apologies for the redundancy - however, this topic hasn't generated much feedback, even in the previous threads.
Would you support a movement towards a cashless system if the government declared physical currency a threat? |
