Why has China built a ghost town in Africa?
Since the ebola scare, I've been snooping around and seeing what I can find about Africa. Some interesting things are showing up. For example, China has built one of their ghost towns there. It also says in the article:

"The £2.2billion project, a fraction of the cash China has poured into Africa in recent years, could lay abandoned for years to come.

It has also highlighted the increasing 'colonisation' of Africa by China, seen to be wanting the resource-rich continent as a 'satellite state', in recent years.

I also found this document from the US govt:

"Through the Doing Business in Africa (DBIA) Campaign, the U.S. government is strengthening its commercial relationship with the continent of Africa, a diverse region that offers substantial trade and investment opportunities across national and regional markets. With a 5.4 percent growth rate predicted for 2014, Africa is outpacing global growth" The article says US corporations are investing $33 billion there.

I remember watching a video about 3 or 4 years ago, that some mansions were springing up (can't remember where in Africa) and nobody knew why all of a sudden, people were building these expensive homes there. I've been hunting for the video but thought I'd go ahead and post. Maybe someone knows about this.

Anyway, ebola is just part of the story of what's going on there. It's a land rich in resources and the people are so poor, they'll do just about anything to make a living, I expect. Could be someone is trying to control Africa with this scare.

The terrorists attacks which will be launched in the United States will be blamed upon middle eastern religious fanatics, Christian fundamentalists, white supremacists, Patriots, or Militias. A more immediate result of these operations will be the increased use of military forces, weaponry, and equipment such as tanks and armored personnel carriers in civilian law enforcement, the suspension or elimination of Habeas Corpus, the elimination of jury trials, the attempted disarming of the American People, and the institution of martial law with show-trials conducted by a tribunal of judges. - William Cooper 1997 (RIP)

It's hard for our get-rich-quick Western brains to understand the patient, long-haul, 20 generations down the road mentality of the Chinese.
It's getting to the point where I'm no fun anymore.

I am sorry.

True! Ya know, I'm going to google and see if China is building ghost towns anywhere else.

I know they are buying up expensive property in the US. They lead the way in foreign countries purchasing here.

Yep! They will get cheap labor and suck all their resources dry. I read another article and it says Angola is where China is developing oil projects to import oil to China. Here's the link and there are a lot of photos of the ghost town...

Angola is producing 3 million barrels of oil per day. That's a lot. As much as Iraq was under Saddam.

If dollar collapses, they can trade that shelter and housing for all their oil.

I think it's possible that countries may be using certain 'tactics,' like an ebola scare, to control that country.

I think in the movie 2012 the continent of Africa was left pretty much untouched after a global disaster. Just some food for thought...

I just think when we get a big scare tactic like ebola, we ought to look more globally to see the possibilities of why.

After seeing all the billions being poured into Africa, it makes sense that one country might want to scare the rest of the countries off from investing there.

Make sense?

Was the EBOLA project by the West designed to scare the Chinks off or decimate the Chink population in Africa? We tried but failed with SARS, bird flu and swine flu! Maybe EBOLA is a circuitous Chink depopulation strategy!gwdancedick:dubya:

Re: Why has China built a ghost town in Africa?
I didn't find the video I mentioned in the first post, but I did find this article. The reason I'm posting it is because the buildings look similar to the ones in the video plus it is also surrounded by jungle. This could be the same development, I don't know. Like I said in the post, it was probably 3 or 4 years ago when I saw the video.

At that time, no one knew who was building the mansions. In this article, they think it's someone close to the president and think it's because the president is getting ready to lose some power due to a new constitution being drafted. This was a 2013 article.

Apparently, Africa is still an enigma. I'll keep hunting for the video but I'm hoping someone will see this and know about it.

For the cadres and elites to live in as they escape China just before the collapse, or the noose tightening in the current corruption roundup, or to use as a tax haven.

Chinese investment companies run by corrupt officials get big perks for overseas investments, so they build these with borrowed money they never repay, scoop up the government incentives, put the money in offshore bank, and when the time is right, either take the tax loss, sell to Chinese colonists, or live in the best places.

Its a win win win situation for the officials.
