The inflow the past days been much higher then the prior week. Thats a cause for concern from my standpoint and we need to do more to stop these flight. Isn't it negligence at this point to be allowing them? No worry about the 30 in philly under quarantine for recent travel left to self monitor. Sure. Last Edited by Zcat on 10/26/2014 03:58 AM Zcat |

[link to crofsblogs.typepad.com] How can Ebola be breaking out at all these places at the same time? Interesting question. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 63147302 United States 10/26/2014 12:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How likely is it that they JUST happened to setup an Ebola testing center 3 day prior to this? Someone knew something was heading that way it seems. "October 22, 2014 (WAU) – An Ebola testing centre has been set up in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal state in collaboration with the state health ministry and the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). Health minister Dr Isaac Cleto Hassan told reporters on Tuesday that the centre would be located at Wau airport. Hassan said the decision had been taken as Western Bahr el Ghazal, Western Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria and Central Equatoria experience frequent cross-border movements of people. “The establishment of [the] Wau airport testing department in collaboration with the UN is to test those who are landing direct from Entebbe International Airport in Kampala (Uganda) on the UN daily flights to Wau,” Hassan said." User ID: 61914106 United States 10/26/2014 02:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are now TWO Sudans, as if one Sudan were not enough of a hellhole SOUTH SUDAN is, well, the southern part of the old "Sudan". South Sudan is about the world's newest country. It is largely swamps and forests. Except the forests have largely been logged out, so it is swamps and malarial brush land. The people illiterate and tribal. The tribes war against one another constantly and with mind blowing indiscriminate violence SOUTH SUDAN is nominaly Christian, that when White Guilt Do Gooders show up they sing some gospel. Then they go straight back to voodoo. One major tribe worships their ancestors, the other worships snakes SUDAN is desolate desert. It's the northern two thirds of the old Sudan. They are shariah law Muslims of the most backward and bloodiest sort. SOUTH SUDAN oilfields are owned by the Chinese, who bought the mineral rights to the entire freaking country for $23,000 . No I did not forget any zeros. SUDAN sort of marginally functions as a sort of pariah state. How could either of these dignified African nations could have ebola??? It's probably all of the place. Fscked. If the Marburg in Uganda begins to spread, I'm just gonna call it and bug out. That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably. John Michael Greer |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63492018 Nah, China controls most of Sudan's oil. The Chinese army is protecting their oil over there with military personal dressed as UN blue helmets. Not real Blue Helmets, but Chinese military personal wearing a blue helmet... Blue helmets are very symbolic on the African continent, they are seen as the bringers of peace. The chinks are there just to protect their oil, they don't really care about the people of Sudan. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29047130 If Nigeria stops delivering oil buyers will be forced to look else where making prices go up. Add another oil patch getting spooked by obola and the prices could double in a short period of time. |

The Sudan News Agency quoted the minister as saying the suspected case had come from Abeche in Chad. The patient suffered from hemorrhagic fever, began taking treatment from the health center, and was then transferred to a hospital in El Geneina, she claimed. . |
