There is a benefit to having decent roads, police, fire stations and schools. But I also know that anytime there is money involved, there is somebody stealing it.

Anybody know what happens to someone who is unemployed and then becomes self-employed outside the ObamaCare open-enrollment period?

As soon as they become employed (self) they lose their shitty Medicaid but at the same time they can't sign up for new insurance since its outside the open-enrollment period.

Has anyone really thought through how utterly devestating this will be to small businesses? Apparently you either start your during open enrollment or go without insurance for up to a year and pay a fine all while trying to get back to work.

Talk about punishing those who try! They are doing their very best to make sure no one ever tries. It's like some abusive relationship where if you try and cut ties with the abuser they purposely start screwing with you in an attempt to prevent you from leaving.
