A few years ago I was lucky enough to see an Etruscan exhibit at BYU - they were so far ahead of what was thought to be the standard of culture and technology of their time. My most fervent hope, as far as what happens when we die, is that we get to tap into the Universe's knowledge reserves and finally know the unedited truth about the history of everything. LOL Probably too big of a hope, but it is what it is. |

[link to www.dawn.com] [link to www.bibliotecapleyades.net] In many countries, these structures are State secrets. Why? Could they house technological secrets that vary by area of the globe? Could they rewrite the known history of the globe and humanity in such a manner that it would eschew global control? I mean, when governments of the world make it their prerogative to lie to their citizenry about religion and the history of humanity in general, it stands to reason that when something comes up that challenges the standard they will go to virtually any lengths to protect the status quo and their authority. |

I can never figure out why they would go to all the effort to build such extensive things underground. WTF?? Great post, thanks! Yes,...I really do believe this is the case. "Religion" is the single most effective control mechanism of large groups of people by a pyramid style hierarchy. Couple that with patriotism and wow. You got yourself an army of human drones. Clearly,...we as citizens of earth have been misled as to the true history of this planet. You got yourself an army of human drones. Clearly,...we as citizens of earth have been misled as to the true history of this planet. I believe the true history would collapse current systems of control. Z I don't think the initial 'lies' were lies as much as they were people in control trying to establish and maintain control through knowledge. Over time, however, their primitive and archaic beliefs were disproved by increasing knowledge and evidence - however by this time (and particularly in nations where those in control had achieved their positions via claimed relations to deities and such) leaders couldn't simply CHANGE their sentiments and maintain control. Indeed, for the most part, humans do demand leadership, and they get a little crazy and unpredictable when their long-held worldview is challenged. I am fairly certain that governing bodies of the world know, even if they had empirical and unquestionable evidence that the world came to be differently than the history books and religious texts state, that most people wouldn't BELIEVE them anyway, and that any attempt to rewrite the past would be met with disbelief at best and violence and social unrest at worst. I, as a human who would prefer the truth to any lie, regardless of the nature of the truth, have a tendency to judge the governing bodies of this world for their tight-lipped secrecy. However, if I were a world leader, I would likely be inclined to keep the peace rather than release truths that would spawn general disbelief and likely cause discord and even widespread death and destruction. Sigh. It is what it is. I want to know, but if I were leading I wouldn't release knowledge that would likely change nothing substantial if known if there were such a large likelihood that releasing the knowledge would be detrimental. |

Namaste Z I agree with you to an extent, because your questions of who decides what information is available and to whom are very valid. Historically, knowledge has always been power, and truth has always been closely guarded by the elite. I do believe that in an ideal world all information would be available equally to all who sought it, but our world is so contrived, so PR, so media controlled - people's thoughts are steered deliberately in various directions all the time. The problem with this kind of constant and intense brainwashing is that when you try to change minds, it can cause cognitive dissonance so bad that any number of dangers can result. Sigh. |

I'd like to think TPTB serve a role in maintaining all that is good and great about our past 5000 years (or whenever the previous reset was) as a basis to build the next great civilization.
