I just experienced this about 2 weeks ago. I seriously thought I was having a heart attack, went to ER but nothing showed up on EKG or blood work. Never had that happen before.Plus I was having dizziness, blurry vision, headache

Have been experiencing chest and left arm pains for about two months. Went to sleep one night, and couldnt't breathe, my breathing was labored and it felt as though there was no oxygen in the air!

Has only happened once, but the pains come and go. Hopefully I will die soon.

Re: Has anybody else here recently been experiencing chest pains/heart attack symptoms/panic attacks?
I'm 49 and for about 4 months I've been experiencing symptoms like chest pain, palpitations, anxiety, shortness of breath, tremors, headaches, dizziness, nausea. I've been to Emergency about 4 or 5 times as I thought I was dying. But the tests (ECG, blood, x-rays, CT scan) couldn't find anything wrong so doctors just put it down to anxiety.

I've had a Holter monitor & it said there were a few skips but nothing serious. Now they suspect I might have a heart condition, Mitral Valve Prolapse w/ Dysautonomia so I had an Echocardiogram stress test and I get the results this Friday. If it is MVP, thankfully it's not life threatening in most cases but it can't be cured but can be managed. I hope my symptoms can managed as it's been pure hell!

Please be careful with the Xanax. I don't know if it happens to everyone, but the longer I took it, the more severe the anxiety attacks would be. Yes, it would help, but the anxiety attacks got horrible. I couldn't even go into the town next to ours without having one.

I quit taking it. I still have anxiety attacks, but not as severe as the ones I was having with the Xanax.

Re: Has anybody else here recently been experiencing chest pains/heart attack symptoms/panic attacks?
What you describe with hot flashes and light-headedness and tingling and not being able to move sounds like a panic attack. I had a really bad one awhile ago and thought it might have something to do with my heart. Apparently this is a very common occurrence where people who have panic attacks think they are having or have had a heart attack.

I also felt my heart was having issues and I believe due to lack of sleep I had panic attacks. But the doctor also told me I was fine with an EKG and drawing of blood. They said it was likely due to stress and lack of sleep. They gave me medicine to take but I didn't take it due to the horror stories I read about it. I've been going the natural route and exercising some more and started taking apple cider vinegar and vitamins and found some other helpful things so I will explain what I've learned.

Be sure to get some exercise, enough rest and proper vitamin supplements. For anxiety relief you can try some of the things on the link below like a bit of Apple cider vinegar each day seems to help, as long as you don't have ulcers, but maybe drinking with some water or something anyway: [link to www.earthclinic.com]

There are many other benefits from adjusting your bodies pH level like that as well. It should be slightly alkaline, like 7.4. Your cells can't function well or at all if the pH is far too high or too low.

Another thing you could try is Oil Pulling which has all sorts of other benefits as well. You can look it up at that link too.

You can also put some lavender scent or other scents in the room to help calm you. We got an oil diffuser that used ultrasonic sound frequencies to evaporate the water which was nifty. I think it's like water ionization or something, although that can be a different thing.

Speaking of which, make sure your water is healthy too. But be careful of alkaline water ionizers as they aren't necessarily doing what they claim: [link to cleanairpurewater.com]

Also passion flower works really great but you can't take it too much or for too long or it can have negative effects on your body. If I felt myself starting to freak out a bit I would take some drops of a tincture in some water and it calmed me right down. I have some sleeping pills which have melatonin and passion flower in them which are awesome. Take those a couple hours before bed and you will sleep great.

Another thing that happens to people who have panic attacks can be that they start to panic about having a panic attack. So just try to breathe and relax and not worry about anything. I also sometimes find just turning on music, a movie or a show or something to take my mind off my thoughts helps fairly well.

Also magnesium is often a thing people are quite deficient in and having some of that can help you feel better as well. It also might help to offset any calcium build up you might have in your heart or arteries and so might the Apple cidar vinegar. [link to drsircus.com]
[link to www.earthclinic.com]

Another thing I discovered was that pomegranate can clean out your arteries over time. One study said it reduced the amount of plaque build up in the arteries by something like 30% in a year of drinking pomegranate juice regularly or taking supplements. Here are some various sites on that: [link to www.webmd.com]

For what it's worth, a friend of mine had the exact same thing described about a pain under the arm and the Doctor told him it was just a sore muscle, probably from being on the computer a lot. I sometimes get a sore muscle there but I know it's just a muscle because I used to work as a construction labourer I know what sore muscles feel like there so I just massage it a little and it feels better. But that isn't necessary the same thing you describe, just one potential cause of something similar you describe. I'm not trying to downplay the seriousness of heart issues.

If you spend a lot of time on the computer definitely take regular breaks from it. Sitting down all the time isn't good either. Maybe implementing a better system for taking breaks is in order which can also help increase productivity: [link to lifehacker.com]

Good luck and hope you feel better!

Re: Has anybody else here recently been experiencing chest pains/heart attack symptoms/panic attacks?
I started noticing a tightness/slight pain in my left beast bone area/left underarm around October 22nd.

On November 1st, I was absolutely convinced that I was having a heart attack. The pain kicked up, I had extreme hot flashes accompanied by light-headedness, tingling all over my body and cold sweats.

I could barely form sentences or move my limbs (when I walked my legs and arms trembled uncontrollable). I had a family member drive me immediately to the ER, where they told me that all of the tests indicated that it was not cardiac related and that I was likely dehydrated.

After that incident, I made ABSOLUTELY SURE to drink 2-3 liters of water (sometimes more) every day, out of fear that it would happen again. It was the absolute most terrifying experience of my life.

On the 6th, it happened again. Went to the ER for more tests. Again, normal. They prescribed Xanax, which helped. But the RX was only for a few days' worth.

Again, on the 14th, I started to have another full blown attack. I was home alone at the time so I had to call an ambulance. There was a third round of normal tests and another prescription for Xanax.

Anyway, the reason I ask this question is because more than a few of my friends on Facebook have reported chest pains from anxiety very recently and I am wondering if this is a widespread trend.

I could never before even have imagined that stress could manifest itself as such a seemingly life-threatening set of symptoms as heart attack symptoms.

Yes been getting a burning sensation in my left breast bone or whatever. But i never panic or have panic attacks im over that.

The good news is OP they said its not cardiac arrest, and they are right. Start looking for other things like a lung problem...

For me it has been the heat.
I had to change my sleeping time due to the nights it gets hotter in my house.

It is 88 degrees and feels like 100 where my friend is in Puerto Rico.
It is 100 degrees where my house is and feels like 108 degrees.

It hurts my kidneys bad, the heat runs my blood pressure up.
It messes up my electrolytes.
I have to sleep in a different position and time and avoid sitting for to long of periods.

Drink as much water as I can.
This has been a heat done over us for over 30 days now.
My feet are blistered and weeping from it, due to the fluid retention.

It is the heat, I usually can not take anything over 60-61 degrees temp with out getting sick from it.

Take hot baths with a cup each of Epsom salts and baking soda. Try to stay in for 30 minutes. Afterward, lay down for another 30. Besides replacing magnesium, it helps to detox and relax your body.

Caught him(rogue cia) shooting me with a heart attack gun.

Looks like a laser pointer in shape of gun with autoaim to heart.

Suspect was driving and already aimed my heart before seeing me visible around wall.

Take good quality magnesium and/or cayenne pepper if your heart starts to feel weird ad hyper, esp. from stress in the meantime.

YES!

When I initially was overtly stalked I started getting hit with chest pains.

NOW, I know that it is something that is caused remotely.

I went into a large chain thrift store and I pissed off the Manager by strapping on a used snowboard and jumping in the middle of the store. SLAP! :)

When checking out I decided against purchasing because it was improperly marked for pricing (more than I thought I tried to dicker to no avail "No Thanks", I live in the South and there is not much snow) he pulled out a pamphlet for me to sign the receipt, and he put his hand on it next to "Tax"...

Noticed first around May/June

several months nothing at all

November again for about a week period.

Then the past three days. Not as severe as November thus far.

It's not psychosomatic as the two other people I know only brought up their symptoms when I shared about having it. Since then we have been correlating if we feel it.

I live a pretty Hermetic life - I came in here after my episodes and stress test today. I just realized its an OLD thread. I am not saying I am immune from getting caught up in things, I noticed a poster on this thread referred to Ebola, yep that one got me too. However this was just a coincidental sighting of a thread related to my recent issues.

a couple weeks ago I had the most intense fatigue of my life, I couldn't keep my eyes open for more than twenty minutes and even then it was struggle. it was next to impossible to move my arms and walking was absolute torture. I honestly thought I was pregnant again, because the symptoms were so similar, but so much more intense. it has seemed to subside for the most part. still get random attacks of fatigue, light headedness and blurry vision. now I have almost daily headaches and occasional extreme exhaustion where I have to nap midday for no apparent reason.

anyone else experiencing this?

I have been thru the same. Research symptoms and causes of panic/anxiety attacks....Your adrenal gland is right behind your chest and the anxiety triggers an adrenaline rush and it feels like a heart attack.
Try to breathe deep and slow and NOT PANIC...it isn't a heart attack. I have found 100% that Lavender essential oil can cut it off at the pass and reduce symptoms. I rub it on my temple and/or the side of neck and breath it deeply and slowly from my hands...True story! It is absorbed quickly...

Stop MSG. If you are sensitive to it you can have palpitations and none of their tests will find a reason. MSG is an excititoxin and can cause a whole list of symptoms in certain people. Monosodium Glutamate is NOT always on the label or can be listed as a multitude of different names. Google for more info.

Classic panic attack symptoms.

Also do not underestimate the spiritual aspect of these attacks, I had a big panic attack then called out to Jesus normally after an attack I'm laid in bed for hours. This time I was out walking in the woods not caring.

It's a very real feeling very scary.
Go walking, biking, that will get your confidence back.
If you walk try to make it at least two hours.
