He words "we will meet Jesus in the air" could be better translated as "we will meet Jesus in our spiritual form upon his return". This is one of the great mysteries of the bible, the spiritual form. Many people don't know what it is and assume it's some kind of unseen spiritual form when that is not the case. The truth is that the spiritual form is the same height, mass and appearance as the human physical body, but it is immortal and perfect. This is the body Jesus was resurrected with. This is the form all the angels in scripture took when they showed themselves to, and interacted with, men. The spiritual form was what The Lord took on when he wrestled with Jacob. This is the form the angels who rescued lot appeared in. This is the form the king of Salem appeared in. This is why there are ancient footprints in million year old rock that appear to be modern human feet at a time when science tells us we were all basically monkeys and had monkey feet. This is why the are so many ancient ooparts clearly indicating that their were advanced civilizations on the earth but why we have no bodies or fossils to show who made the ancient things. Because there was a first earth age in which everyone existed in spiritual form. This is when some of the ancient megalithic structures were built that science has grossly underestimated the ages of. This is why so many of these structures display a degree of precision and sophistication that we cannot duplicate them today. The trilithon stones at baalbek cannot be lifted by any known means today even with massive cranes. They are simply to big and too heavy, yet they were quarried five miles from where the were erected then lifted 50 feet into the air and placed with such precision you cannot slip a piece of paper between them. The original platform structure of baalbek simply defies any and all means of modern explanation, and it is far from the only example. To put it plainly, there was a first earth age, people existed in their spiritual form, Lucifer rebelled against God and 1/3 of the people sided with him, 1/3 sided with God, and 1/3 did nothing. The third that sided with God are the elect that are here now to fight Satan again and they are the ones that cannot be deceived by the dark one. You see, we have done this all before, but in another form and we were born on this earth without the knowledge of our former selves...mostly...but some memories persist in an unconscious way, which is where the sixth sense and deja-vu comes from.
