maybe it should be rephrased: Creator, help me to surrender all desires. keep repeating daily.

from my experience, when we say, 'I desire nothing." we are doing the action and it limits the surrendering. When we rely on the Creator to do the work, without our interference, it gets taken care of. this is what works for me.

What was I created to be?

Certainly don't want a job..

Creator, help me to surrender all desires.

You see what focusing on self leads to.

Why don't you try serving others in any capacity for a change?

Why must I give up myself in order to be in order?

eventually we must give up choosing things for ourselves instead of choosing the Creator.

with that said, one day, i'll let go of this physical body and everything beyond, but so far not now.
