Our economy hinges on maintaining the petrodollar system. A devalued dollar means hyperinflation. The good news is we will be competitive with third world counties and we will bring back manufacturing jobs from China. The bad news is we will be living like the Chinese 30 years ago where the price of manufactured goods are out of reach for most.

THIS Thread couldn't be more pessimistic so I wanted to add some suggestions of things to come that may instigate changes to the powers that be that they have been avoiding for decades.

1. The cat is out of the bag now. BRICS will have cold fusion when it is perfected; the scientists working on it in the USA have been driven out or killed to stop it and shut them up because it really WILL be the end of petroleum energy. The world will have it and Saudi Arabia will revolt against their masters and end the Wahabi reign.

2. There will be no "Petro dollar/euro/or any denomination. Cars will be able to run on water. Out of the oil trafficking altogether. If no one uses or needs oil gas or coal anymore, THEN what?

We are moving into a new age; this is the last hurrah of the facist imperialists. The system is crumbling and people don't seem to be able to see it. Truths are no longer "leaking" out, they are flooding out. We are learning more about who was behind the JFK assassination, 9/11, all the false flags meant to terrorize us are being mocked now. They can't control their secrets which are broadcast to the world, thats why whistleblowers are severely punished.

Don't be afraid, they are crumbling and falling apart and trying to convince us they are omnipotent. Just remember the Wizard of OZ. The big scary voice behind the curtain was using a megaphone. It doesn't hurt to be prepared, and learning skills such as gardening, hunting, cooking, canning, sewing, carpentry can not do us any harm and can save us lots of money.

i do believe we won't survive unless we can overcome our divisions so that we can stand together as one unified citizenry and refuse to allow ourselves to be deluded into separations by orchestrated false flag events. The powers that be are only going to bring themselves down; we don't have to do a thing.

China is the largest buyer of oil, none of which gets traded in usd. China also is the largest holder of us government debt at 1.3 trillion. Oil is falling and i csnt help but wonder Is this a move away from the US dollar as the world reserve currency? And with China holding all those bonds what happens then? How will they recover the losses?

Hi. Here is the real scoop. Dollar is doomed. Central banks are now trading sdr's (standard drawing rights), instead of dollars. The world bank group, and the IMF are finalizing a "basket" of currencies including the dollar that will be used much like sdr's are used internationally. Much like the Euro, this currency would lower transaction costs between countries. The basket would include: the dollar the yen the mark the pound and the remembe and the Swiss franc. This would benefit tremendously thise additional currencies while hurting the dollar while maintain status quo for ourselves western and Asia trading nations.

The downside is the USA would suffer "declining terms of trade." If you travel overseas much especially in third world countries you will notice that dollar for dollar you are still paying MORE money eating out than in the USA. Look at the Big Mac index to get an idea for this concept - the idea is buying power. We will lose buying power and as Obola mentioned early on we will have to adjust our lifestyles tremendously.
