As My Wife would say; typical Male only caring about My toys. Sub is fine; Hsu makes great subs. Cat is still in corner;LOL how about Dayton? Heard good thigns about them as well Daytons are great for the price. Have a 12 inch in the bedroom mated to a sound bar. Had a 10 in Dayton and it was also great for the price; gave it to Our church 5 years ago for Movie night and it is still going strong. Parts Express has frequent sales on both of them. The Hsu was spendy but needed for the 520 sq foot Family room. Zeldannie |

If you put in a corner about 5-6 inches away from wall you can get down to around 25 Hz. They really are a bargain. They have rubber feet that easily tear off so make sure to lift it when moving. Great bang for your buck. Zeldannie |

Do not know about newer models; My 12 inch is 4 years old. Quoting: Zeldannie is it the sub 1200? Do not remember the number; however it is 120 Watts if that helps. They used to make one with a higher wattage but for a 400 sqft bedroom the 120 watt has plenty of headroom. Zeldannie |

Try listening to War of the Worlds with a Sub that will go low, flatly. When the Aliens open their ships you can feel the sound go straight to your bones and back out. Zeldannie |
