But starting with her likes...I have gotten her stuff that go with her hobbies the last few yrs... That's why I need a new gameplan. How did that go over? How about something you both could enjoy? One thing I notice rather often, is people often have rather poor 'sets of knives'. A great set of knives makes cooking so much more enjoyable. And they last forever. I have a set of Globals. Took a few of years to accumulate over Christmas for a nice collection. [link to images.search.yahoo.com (secure)] She does like to cook! But she has some expensive ass knives. I don't know what they are called, but I remember the day I saw the charge on the card for a knife set that cost as much as my 1st car “People have only as much liberty as they have the intelligence to want and the courage to take.” - Emma Goldman |

Quoting: Chibs We have been together a while now, birthdays, christmas, etc I have gotten her all kinds of gifts...but I am running out of ideas... What do women want this yr? Time, peace, and calm. how about planting a tree somewhere where she can see it? Its slow growth measures time, it brings beauty and peace and birds, and the rustling of the leaves is calming. Quoting: SouthernLady Love my Vera Bradley! I have a question about this one. What's the deal with them? lol I mean, I know nothing of womens style, but like 80 bucks for a purse that is super colorful that seems like something my daughters would want, more so than my wife. They don't look "adult" What makes them special? Why that brand? And am I crazy about them not looking like something an adult would have? “People have only as much liberty as they have the intelligence to want and the courage to take.” - Emma Goldman |
