how about planting a tree somewhere where she can see it? Its slow growth measures time, it brings beauty and peace and birds, and the rustling of the leaves is calming.

Even a tree in a container on the porch or patio works.

I have a question about this one.

What's the deal with them? lol I mean, I know nothing of womens style, but like 80 bucks for a purse that is super colorful that seems like something my daughters would want, more so than my wife. They don't look "adult"

Also, one year I bought both my mother and grandmother miniature orange trees.

Unfortunately, even inside they are hard to keep alive in Oregon. If you live in a warmer climates, orange blossoms smell amazing. And they do bear edible fruit.
