I was scanning the contents as downloading last night and they look very good! Thought I'd be able to delve into the first one but I zonked out a few minutes after settling in/signing into glp:-(!

Just finished downloading the last one, noticing the funny numbering, 7, 8.1, 8.2, 10. No 9?

I noticed the first book mentioned that Victor doesn't speak English..Anyone speak Russian? -or we can use a translator.... should we start with an emailing campaign?

You might be right but the books are still inspirational.

There are 10 books in all and all of them are at that link. The numbering is funny. They had an 8 and 8.2 (which should have been 9) I don't think they were planning on another book after that.

Anyway, when they published the next one, they just jumped number 9 in the numbering.

They have an English section on their website so I don't think it's a problem.

It would be impossible to contact her in person because she's naked in the wilderness.

I contacted her in my mind last night and she made someone prove something to me today. And I know she did it, she can control people.

Anyways, I don't know if she put the thought in my mind about the flying saucers years ago or she stole the idea from me but I understand the technology she is talking about without using explosives and how to maneuver using the spin of the world instead of engines.

It really doesn't matter whether she exists or not. The concepts presented in the series started a movement that has been spreading across the globe.

1. She read the first book a long time ago and doesn't remember anything about a computer challenge. Takes the pressure off of that(!). I forgot to ask about the technology though -doh! I was going to read the book then call, oh well. - I think I remember the first download- book one, said 'unauthorized translation' - maybe the Russian/English was a bit off?? I didn't notice that on the other books.

2. Book 8 was split, for some reason, she didn't know why. So 10 is really 9.

3. In the US, only 6 of the series are available :-( . That doesn't ever make sense, though, are they being censored? Why can't wherever they are accessed by post-mail?

I'm glad people are finding the books. I love them so it's true, it doesn't matter if Anastasia exists or not. It doesn't matter if what is in the books are fiction or not. They are inspiring.

The computer challenge is in the first book. We'll see if anything comes of it.

When I first heard of Anastasia and the ringing cedars from my Russian friend, only the Russian editions were available. So glad they are all translated now, even if unofficially.

I think the reason it 'calls' to me is that I have dreamed of living like that since childhood. Just daydreaming about it brings bliss.

Interesting coincidence - just spoke with the guy who started our new North Shore shuttle service. With only a little initial county funding and his own vehicles, he has GREATLY helped our little community. He has bigger dreams though - starting an ecovillage. Need to see if he's read the books. A Ringing Cedars ecovillage on Kauai would SO rock!

I've dreamed living like this, too. And, I've tried for years to live on the land. I"m in a gated community right now and I grow edibles in my landscaping, lol!

I will be holding a meeting, after Christmas, to talk to everyone about putting in a food forest, here. I know they won't go for it but they will get a lot of information that they don't get from watching MSM every day!!!

Keep me posted on what happens there. You guys wouldn't have to do much to live it!!!

Picture your food forest as a reality and everyone going for it. You may be amazed at the results. I thought the same thing when I proposed a community garden to a local church that runs a food pantry. It has been going and growing for 5 years now!
