Why would this happen? I am double-counted each time I click on a thread...

If others had experienced the double counting, I would be more inclined to believe it was "standard" monitoring...but if anyone has had the same issue, please fill free to speak up. I want to take all the info I can to my guy when I get my comp looked at.

It started happening about a month ago and from multiple internet locations (my house, friends house, parents house). Each time I click on a thread, the "views" goes up by 2 instead of 1. I tried it on this website (older threads with no one on them) and several other forums that use a "views" counter for their threads and the result was the same.

I have informed close family members and am currently enlisting the help of a friend that works in the "field" to help identify the problem...

Is it unreasonable to think that my affiliation with this website has led to my computer being "monitored"? Would there be any other logical explanation?

That sometimes happens when you have actually died and your ghost is walking around with you. The counter thingy picks up the energy of both of you, and therefore says two have walked in the room and want a lady of the night. Merry Christmas!
