Just a short update, didn't get much sleep tonight. I kept checking in her empty room for some reason. Grandmother is in the morgue now and I have a difficult Monday ahead of me negotiating for a burial. As well as getting all the death certificates and paperwork.

She was a devote Orthodox Christian and her wish was to be buried according to the custom. Our neighbor, as sad as he got when the news came seemed strong. Helped me out with calling a hearse and all. He is also going to arrange a church service.

Even if the church community helps out with burial there is still a large issue that worries me. Sadly Granny's Will was really out of date and pointing to someone completely else. Very distant relatives. We never managed to get it updated and most likely I would be loosing this house as soon as they find out of her death and arrange the paperwork. Still quite a lot of darkness and uncertainty ahead of me.

Darn, sorry to bother you again folks. I just woke up in the middle of the night here and feel such emptiness. I had a daily routine here for over seven years and now it has all collapsed. All I can think of is what daily, simple actions I did that filled my life. Now it seems like an empty void. The more need for someone around to be with!

I admit I am not the best of writing all this in shock and all. Just reaching out for help, although I have no idea what help opportunities there are. It can be anything, shelter, help towards burial, warm words of advice. Anything. I am about to meet the Russian system head on with no safety gear, or training / experience. I have no idea what to do, when all of this crumbles around me. Sorry, if I offended anyone. Just needed to get it all out.

If you are the only relative wouldnt what she has go to you anyway?I would think so unless she has it willed to someone else specifically.

The will is old, and to distant relatives, who would be quite unkind of me living in their new property. I'm sure of it. Not had any contact with them, besides hearing that they kicked out their own father to acquire his living quarters. Sadly with this large crisis in Russia people are fighting tooth and claw for any little thing. It's quite scary to be honest.

I will try and keep you all updated. Later this morning I will be getting the death certificate and trying to arrange the funeral.
