Deputies who responded found Veronica Rutledge, 29, dead in the Hayden store's electronics department in what Kootenai County sheriff's spokesman Stu Miller described as a "tragic accident." She probably had the gun loose in her purse. Always carry your gun in a holster. A pocket holster would have worked here. The trigger would have been covered. Better yet carry it on your person. |
