Anyone's neighborhood turning into a third-world hellhole?

Yes it is.Windows were broken at the corner store and at a nearby laundrymat.Some one tried to steal gas out of my van.Someone tried to break into my home.My cell phone was stole.Someone stole my change off the washer when i had my backed turned.I have never seen it this bad here

Quite a few Mexicans in the nearest city. I have to do business with them from time to time and have no problems at all.
A lot of the bad neighbor hoods they moved into actually look better as they take over.

Kind of. I went to the lake today and almost every family there was hispanic and couldn't speak a word of English. At work, customers frequently come in and they try to order in Spanish and don't understand the prices of things. The other day I was driving back from the store and i saw 5 or 6 hispanic people standing on the side of the street wearing camouflage and holding a sign completely in Spanish. I guess this was a message just for other Hispanics because they made no effort to put another sign in English. I could only wonder what they were doing. I really just wish if people decide to move here they should at least learn the fucking language and try to absorb the culture more than they are. If I was moving to Mexico i would sure as hell try to blend into the culture and learn the language.

Brand new house, they just moved in, and put up a eight foot high privacy fence already. Like the next day. Have not even had a chanch to meet them yet ...

Turn them in for being in the country illegally. If someone tries to place an order in Spanish ask them if they are in the country legally. Migre?

Storms every day in my nieborhood, half my trees have been knocked down in summer storms. My nieborhood looks storm ravaged.

My janitor reports that his street has been taken over by Mexicans, he now spends most his time looking out the window afraid they will break into his car.... these low income folks are feeling highly pressured by illegals.... of course TPTB don't care....at least not until the illegals storm the gates of their compounds....

I would have to run that by my HomeOwners Association first, can't do anything without permission.

here in austin area, our neighbourhood got gang looking people walking on streets. Never had that before Katrina

They are building a huge Muslim community center.

They built a huge mosque last year that our local police direct traffic for on Friday.

There are a bunch of pakistani's, Indians (saris) and Muslims (burkas) down the block from me.

There are numerous Islamic, Indian and Asian grocery stores and lots of new restaurants of each persuasion.

It all happened rather quickly.

TOO LATE IF YOUR "NEIGHBORHOOD" IS ONE OF THE FOUR SOUTHERN BORDER STATES.

Small city zones of the rich and highly secure stand least effected so far.

Most other areas get the shit on treatment:

Ignore the English language.

Trample the grass to dirt.

Trash gets dropped wherever.

No taking care of anything.

Turn area into slum.

Move north, and repeat.

Suddenly I'm either noticing more muslims with turbans, or there're comming down from Canada? I live in washington state. I went shopping at the mall, they were everywhere! I don't mind, I smiled and say hello, but get the meanset stares when I do that. Iv'e never hurt anyone, i'm not a racist, and generally a nice, pleasent, friendly person. It's not a hellhole yet in my town, but why can't we all just get along? They look so angry! Lots of hispanic, people of all color, most are friendly. Now when I go to tacome, or Seattle I expect to see lots of muslims wearing turbans.

Maybe they are leaving the bigger cities, and moving into smaller towns? Not that I would blame them for that, I too like the country.....I only go to Puyallup to shop.....

I think a new one opened up as a matter of fact. It smelled good, like incence, so i stoped in to see the store. Lots of head scarves, muslim type clothes, Hindu, and Indian clothing. There was a group of arab men sitting on the benches near the store at the mall. Those were the ones that looked very angry at me when I came out of the shop.
Maybe I wasn't suppose to go in? Oh well, I don't care much for the malls anyway. To expencive, and very crowded! I tend to stay in the country mostly:)

Like I said, It's not a third world country yet, but when it does, at least I will have plenty of wild game to eat!

Just got back from my city's heritage days celebration.
Had a great time sampling the food, watching the dances and martial arts demonstrations, and checking out all the hot exotic booty.
The African dancers took the show this year, but just wandering the park grounds, I was mesmerized by all the cute Arab girls in their Hijabs,and of course all the Caribbean hotties.
Canada being a multicultural country, you don't actually have to be ethnic to participate in other country's pavillions. for instance, half the drummers backing the Tanzanian dancers in their zebra skins were white. And of course the kung-fu schools have been open to non-Chinese for 35 years. Some African drummers were backing up the Celtic dancers etc. Brazillian capoeira martial arts dancing is popular with the neo-hippies.
And when the party is over we are all still welcome. I often go to meditation classes at the Vietnamese Zen Temple. One time I needed to come up with $2100 cash to buy a used car- the dealer wouldn't take Interac and the banks were closed. So I borrowed the cash with a handshake from the Somali sheik who transfers money back home for his community.

Moslems don't wear turbans, Sikh's from the Punjab wear turbans.
When my infant son developed hydrocephalus, a Sikh homeopath cured him without surgery. Now my son represents his city in soccer tournaments and he can head-butt a ball 30 meters. Western medicine couldn't have done that.

There are about 1 million American Citizen living in Mexico and they dont speak a f... word in spanish.
So, they only say "cerveza por favor y gracias" and we dont give a shit about that.
If they like the country is enough, they dont have to speak/learn/absorb our culture, they like to see it as well as we like to see theirs.

Oh yeah, I live about 50 miles from DC and we are getting hit hard from the city's overflow because land is so much cheaper here. However, the price has skyrocketed in the last couple years. We own a small farm (180 acres) outside Charles Town, WV and land is going for about $30-40,0000/acre. So far we've refused to sell our land and because of this we've been raped in the ass by imminent domain (the sewage treatment plant confiscated the land in order to expand) and also by housing developments popping up everywhere. Currently they are working on building 86 townhouses about 30 feet from our house because our neighbors just sold their land. Its fucking ridiculous.

clear, $30,000 X 180 = $5,400,000 and
maybe you could find a smaller place you
would enjoy away from the maddening crowd.
