Look what happened to restarting Beavis and Butthead. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67110008 true, but also look at the success of the last x files reboot: Fringe!! It was an incredible show that did great. There is still a big audience for this type of show. It just has to be done carefully. :malefav: I love this place!! |

Following that logic the next series may require therapy after watching, considering Fringe kinda pushed the margins out pretty far from where X-Files set them. I haven't even seen the last couple of seasons, but there were some serious mind fucks in what I did see. aHEMagain "And once again, Probability proves itself willing to sneak into a back alley and service Drama as would a copper piece harlot." -- Vaarsuvius, The Order of the Stick [link to tvtropes.org] "History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme" -- Mark Twain "It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence.-- William Clifford [link to myweb.lmu.edu] |

Fringe is probably one of my favorite shows in recent history, second only to the BBC's Sherlock. |

Quoting: Red Red Whine it is on netflix. And you have to watch it! I think i have watched the full series about five times now. It is seriously that good. And it a reboot of sorts of xfiles. in one of the earlier episodes one of the characters actually makes a passing remark about something "since the old x-files was shut down" or something like that. I dont remember the exact phrase, but it was their nod to the original show of the supernatural. And seriously, it is the best show ever. :malefav: I love this place!! |
