What are the odds? Canada is a big country and about 90% of it is not inhabited. But OP predicts that there will be 3 impacts taking out 3 of the biggest cities on the prairies. I sense a big FAIL for OP. Living in Vancouver, I feel a bit left out of all the doom!

You say the Calgary impact will take out the oil sands. But they are really far away. Like 460 miles far away.

And you say the Quebec City impact will take out Ile de Montreal, but that's like 150 miles away.

See, if you ask anyone on the street if they'd be scared of a meteor hitting, and maybe even joke and say it's happening soon, they'd at least think about it and freak out a bit. It's just human nature.

Then you have fans of doom, your run of the mill down-and-outs, heavy drinkers in a bit of debt, just pissed at the world types. They ramp it up a bit and say "you know what would be even more entertaining and take my mind off of shit? What if TWO of these happened at once?!" At that point most people dismiss them, but at least there are enough people in the same demographic for them to find a common ally in their escapism.

Finally you have the actual doomtards. To them, it's not enough that even two things happen at once. Instead, they dream up a scenario whereby five or six extremely rare events occur over a 10 day period (mixed in with a bit of biblical number prediction or how-many-days-past-veterans-day-the-answer-is-77.7). This is not even founded in psychosis, what it really is - is narcissism.

Because to the doomtard, he/she is living in such a special time, in such a special place, that they are about to witness something equal the odds of the 100 different lotteries they previously planned on winning all occurring at once. It gives their life meaning. Throw in a bit of government coverup and it was actually planned just to get them all along! The gov just held back long enough to make sure it happened on the 1st day of the 3rd month of the anniversary of the first time they had a dream about the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune.
