I just happened to run across this yesterday. Baking soda. The article tells you the amounts, etc. [ link to articles.mercola.com] Mercola....Baking soda used to treat swine flu 85 years ago I looked up this link and found good information about baking soda and its ability stop the mucous. My fever is almost gone, yet the mucous continues. I have coughed so hard that my abdominal muscles hurt. I use other methods to alkaline my body, but it seems my body needs some baking soda , so I just took some and will take it several times today according to the article. You know baking soda is just powdered salt? Our bodies are salt water based, something they don't like to tell us. Think of your body like a swimming pool. What do pool technicians do to pool water? The maintain a proper PH level.. And for what reason? To kill bacteria and viruses. Baking soda is really a miracle cure for almost anything.
