As a black man with limited knowledge on Norse and viking culture other than the exploits and explorations of the various tribes, is say go ahead, there is nothing wrong with having pride and reverence for your culture.
But as a Christian, if this culture contradicts the empirically, intrinsically sound rules and desires of the one true, REAL God, Jehovah, then you should shed any part of that culture off, and only have pride on the part of the culture that will not diminish the presence in the mind of people.
Have pride in the way your ancestors lived, the clothes, the food, the architecture, the songs, ceremonies, just ways of going about your daily life. But here this, proud Nords. The aspects of this proud culture dealing with any kind of worship or reverence for Gods, or even if you are not directly worshipping these Gods, but only honoring and recognizing the meaning, enigma and lessons the idea of those Gods portray,, as the article states, is still going against the one true God. An above poster said that she is a Christian, but still ascribes to this. Impossible.
It is either one or the other. To those who don't believe in the one true God, Jehovah. Get right. Now.
