Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70419145 Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. All of Christendom will bow before the Lamb. We read that every knee will bow and every tongue confess to God, Romans 14:11. It is a real comfort to know that every prayer that we ever prayed is stored in heaven Rev 5:9-10 "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;" "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." This beautiful new song, proclaiming how worthy Jesus is to receive our adoration, will be a magnificent sound. All voices will be in accord. This song praising Jesus for redeeming us from sin and death will be accompanied by the beautiful music of the harp in the verse before. 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; This number is not a literal number and would not be to our advantage to figure out. It just means a number too large to count. This is a very large company of ministering spirits, angels. The voice had to be loud to be such a multitude. Angels 10,000 x 10,000 = 100 Million + 1000's and 1000's. Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. The interesting thing here is that this huge gathering was all saying the same thing. It was total adoration and recognition of Jesus of who and what He was. Not that they could give Jesus anything, but they realized that it was correct for Him to possess all things. Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Jesus created everything and everyone. This just means that trees, animals, fish, fowl, and all living beings, such as animals and people, all cried out blessings to God. |

In closing chapter 5 we saw three outbursts of praise and worship are directed toward Christ and the Father. (1) The beasts and the elders praise the Lamb for having redeemed them through His blood (v.8,9) and for giving them authority (in the future) to reign on the earth (v.10); (2) Myriads of angels also praise the Lamb for His glory and wisdom (v.11, 12); and (3) Every area of creation worships both the Father and the Lamb (v.13,14). The prayers of saints (v.8) may be prayers for the fulfillment of the messianic kingdom (6:9, 10; 8:3). |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70485438 United States 10/05/2015 04:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Before I move on to chapter 6 I want to post an outline of the 21 judgements. Here is an outline of book of Revelation - with supporting verses from Mathew 24, so no one can claim it is symbolic. Revelation timeline: 7 seal judgements: - Mathew 24, what Jesus calls time of sorrows First four seal judgements horses of apocalypse start journey - 1) NWO-globalization - by deception; Math 24, see that no man deceives you. 2) war(terrorism?) - Math 24, nation will rise against nation. 3) price of food soars, - Math 24, there will be famine in diverse places. 4) 1/4 part men dies (hunger, pestilence, catastrophes, etc) - Math 24, disease; earthquakes. 5) Christians are killed for believing in Jesus - Math 24, many will be killed for my namesake 6) Great earthquake and many signs in sky take place. Acts 2 supports this. men hide in caves fearing wrath of God. 7) Opens up the seven trumpet judgements. The 144,000 witnesses who are sealed (protected) - and all hell is literally unleashed on earth. 7 Trumpet judgements: 1) 1/3 of all trees destroyed, all grass burned up. 2) Sun, moon stars all effect what is going to happen on earth(differently). 3) 1/3 of sea life, and ships - die and destroyed. 4) The fresh water supply becomes poisonous. 5) Men that received mark are tortured 5 months 6) Another 1/3 part men dies (war? ELE????) in a little over a year. 7) Opens up the seven vial judgements. Characters of Revelation: first beast(AC), second beast(false prophet), woman on the beast (mystery babylon). The AC ultimately destroys the woman on the beast, mystery babylon (USD? elite? Fed?). The AC's sidekick (false prophet) tells all they must worship AC's image, and take a mark to buy or sell. If anyone does this they are "lost forever". Meanwhile the earth is going through such turmoil everyone is asking what is going on - sound familiar? We will hear the gospel from the 144,000 who will be given a song no man can learn, and temple rebuilt. 2 witnesses will appear - and preach the gospel. After 3 1/2 years will be killed by beast. They will lay in street 3 days and in front of the whole world God will ascend them into heaven. The easiest part of all this time to recognize is the last 3 1/2 years: The AC's army will surround Jerusalem. The AC will go in and defile the temple sanctuary. and declare himself to be God. He will then rule the world. He and his sidekick will be able to perform miracles. 7 Vial judgements: At the end of time - only people with mark of beast should be around to receive the double portion of God's wrath - you definitely don't want to be around for this. Then Jesus meets beast in what is know as armegeddon. Throws the beast in lake of fire, puts satan in pit for 1000 years. After 1000 years satan is released. Tries to get nations to go against Jersusalem. After satan looses that battle is thrown into lake of fire. God creates new heaven and earth. Jerusalem is center, and God will live with us. legend: Beast (EU, antichrst) Sidekick - false Prophet 2nd beast revelation - USA , China? |

REV 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: When the 5th seal is broken, John sees "under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held." This is immediately before the Great Tribulation. We are seeing the Genocide of Christians in the middle east today!! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70543721 Mathew 24 - nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom. Rev 6:3-4 "And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see." "And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword." The Second Seal: John writes of the 2nd horseman, "It was granted to the one who sat on the red horse to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword." 6:5-6 "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand." "And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine". The Third Seal: A Black Horse - Rampant inflation - a common aftermath of war - Famine is suggested by John's words, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine." Since in biblical days a denarius was a common wage for a day's work, and a quart of wheat or three quarts of barley are basically subsistence diets, John is indicating that a man will have to work all day just to get enough food to eat... On the other hand, the call to not "harm the oil and the wine," are symbols of wealth, indicates that the rich will do just fine... Rev 6:7-8 "And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see." "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." The Fourth Seal - A Pale Horse - This horse represents death. John says the rider who sat on this horse "was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth." One quarter of the earth's population, well over a billion people, will die as a result of WWIII. John did not see these souls with his physical eye, but saw them in the Spirit. These souls were waiting for the Judge of all the earth to interrupt the evil of the devil and his persecution of the saints who remained there. Their cry was the same, in a sense, as the Christians who say, come quickly Lord Jesus. |
