Let's see what you think is so wrong about Mathew 24.

I want to ask you a question.

It's a very simple one:

In Mathew 24 Jesus say:

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Here's the simple question.

If the "evil one" is standing in the "holy place"/temple.

And you are in a field - say a mile away.

How can you SEE him as Jesus says from there?

It is a temple (2thes2), and it is a man (2thes2).

He's in a place only priests are allowed - the holy place.

So again, how are you going to SEE him from a field like Jesus said?

Another question Luke 21:

29 ...Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31 So likewise ye, when ye see ...

and Mathew 24 says

When you SEE ALL these things ---

He lists all the things we will see.

But first.

He says

When you only HEAR of rumours of wars - it is NOT end times.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Then he goes on to the ALL the things we will SEE in end times.

earthquakes, disease, famine in DIVERSE places etc....

Here's the question.

How do we know there are earthquakes in Alaska, or Pacific Rim or Mexico?

This verse in Dan 9 - 70 weeks of Daniel, is familiar to people who have studied bible prophecy:

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.....

The week here is actually 7 yrs.

In the midst of the week - 3 1/2yrs the antichrist will cease the sacrifices in the temple; breaking the covenant made with Israel 3 1/2 yrs earlier.

Of course this is in relation to being able to SEE the antichrist stand in the holy place of the temple.

Something I didn't think of - but was brought to my attention is - this is a simultaneous occurrence.

Jesus is telling us that at the same time someone is on a rooftop, another person in a field looking at the exact same thing - the antichrist; and that both should act upon it.
