Rev 14 is mostly a chapter of judgements that take place during the great tribulation.

It started with the destruction of babylon and ended with the battle of armageddon.

We're warned not to worship the devil, or take the mark of the beast, because if we do we shall find ourselves in the winepress of the wrath of God; suffering forever.

Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Up to now the 7 seal & trump judgments have been opened.

They were pretty horrific - some to the point there was silence in heaven for 1/2 an hour.

What comes next is even worse.

In the following chapters we learn exactly what the wrath of God is:

I understand what you are saying.

Men have been misinterpreting the bible since Moses wrote the Torah.

I don't think that is adding or taking away from the book of Revelation.

Although there are 'cults' today who do that.

I posted this a while ago for a friend and I think this sums up nicely where we are today:

People for 2000 years have been incorrectly saying Jesus would return.

Up til now - it couldn't have happened because the technology didn't exist.

You couldn't see something happening on the other side of the world - this passage below makes no sense to anyone living in Jesus time.

Only we today can understand the technology it takes for this to happen:

Rev 13:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall SEE their dead bodies three and an half days lie in the street. (KJV)

This says other people from other nations will SEE their dead bodies in the street.

The tech didn't exist for people to be in a FIELD or someone on a ROOF and both 'simultaneously' SEE something they should act on i.e. the antichrist STANDING in the temple.

I don't think we are too far off from discovering what entity actually is Mystery Babylon.

I personally believe it is the Beast System today known as the global world order that morphs from many leaders to one leader controlling the new world order i.e. the antichrist.

Jeremiah 24:1 clearly tells us that the people of Israel are the figs - and Joel 1:6 & 7 we can see Israel is the fig tree.
