Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
In Mathew 24 Jesus' disciples ask when will the world end?

Jesus answered and said - When you SEE ALL these things - this is the generation that will see all prophecy fulfilled (Math 24:33).

He literally means seeing, i.e. through webcams, videos, computers etc.

What are ALL the things we shall SEE?

Earthquakes, disease and wars in many places around the world. (Math 24:7)

Only in this generation has this been possible - at these websites:

ds.iris.edu/seismon/;
outbreaks.globalincidentmap.com/

Ancients didn't have the ability to SEE or know of earthquakes and disease on the other side of the world i.e. Alaska etc - nor would they care?

We should care however, because Jesus tells us these things will start out slowly like birth pangs and accelerate to apocalyptic levels. When this happens (and they are accelerating), we'll have a sign the end is near.

Next - When we SEE "the evil one" in the temple from a field or rooftop - this is the start of Great Tribulation.

Why would Jesus use the examples field or rooftop?

How would you SEE "satan's man" standing in the holy place from a field?

Only way I know is with a mobile device i.e. smartphone. Therefore this prophecy couldn't happen until we had mobile devices.

This "evil person" will be so arrogant, he'll have his conquest of Jerusalem streamed live to the internet - for all to see and hear his declaration that he is greater than the God of the universe. (2 Thes 2).

Keep in mind only a priest can enter the "holy place" - so no worshipers will be in there.

Additionally, he gives a dire warning for those in Judeae/Jerusalem flee to mountains. where God has prepared a place of safety for them. (Math 24:15-18, 21) .

Every example he uses is very carefully chosen, and conveys something important, and relevant to the entire world.

He tells us we will NOT be caught unaware - that these things will happen all together; not one here or there - ALL.

Here are some more prophecies that require internet:

The gospel will be preached unto all the nations of the earth and then "the end". (Math 24:14)

All will be required to take a mark of the beast to buy or sell. (Rev 13:16). With so many people in the world today, we need computers to keep track of everyone - and THEY are doing this already.

All will SEE his (antichrist) image move and speak, and be required to worship this image that is alive and can move and speak. (Rev 13:15)

Hmmmm - TV, youtube, computer, mobile device.

All will SEE the antichrist kill 2 witnesses in Jerusalem. After 3 days God will have them rise on their feet, and ascend into heaven in front of the whole world.

Ezekiel 39:21 - ALL will SEE God punish the nations that attack Israel in the gog magog war (coming soon).

All this will be accomplished in one generation.

ALL these things must be happening simultaneously also:

evil abounding - love grows cold: porn number one industry on internet. No shortage examples evilness on internet today.
many offended - political correctness to point can't say something without being killed, fired or going to jail.
christians beheaded - on youtube and other places nonetheless.
Jesus will be hated - we know satan is trying to rid the world of anything having to do with Jesus.
many false prophets - oh yeah
many claim to be christ - yep - but the "real fake" is yet to come.

I'll talk about Israel separately - because it offends many :)

Re: Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
Jesus contrasts the ability to hear things with ability to see things which is why we can be sure he means when you SEE All these things

by saying - when you HEAR of wars and rumours of wars - that's not the time to worry.

But when you SEE wars and all these other things - worry.

Math 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Then Jesus gives the things we should see:

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

When these things happen together - it is the beginning of the tribulation, not great tribulation.

The birth pangs have started.

Then accelerate and we get these things - :

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

It's gonna get pretty ugly out there.

Re: Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
Here is a parable Jesus gives us that's a clear signal end times has started, and commentary:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

----------

The fig tree is Israel -

When Israel is a new nation - know what season it is (it is a sign of the time).

When you SEE ALL the things listed above - know the end of the world is close.

This generation that SEE's Israel reborn, and all things listed is the generation that will see all prophecies fulfilled.

There are many who dispute Israel is the nation of end times.

I've already given examples from Mathew 24 saying Israel exists before the great tribulation. Here's another:

Ezekiel 38 makes it abundantly clear Israel will be around before the millenial reign - because there will be no more wars once the millenial reign starts.

Eze 38:8 .....in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations (nations - not nation)..

Eze 38:4......and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, ......

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

and bring them all against the mountains of Israel - and God will supernaturally destroy this army.

Took 6000 years for first computer program, 100 plus years to run first stored computer program (1948) and
one generation to get to point all prophecies could be fulfilled. In this generation alone since Israel became
a nation (1948) knowledge has increased exponentially (Dan 12). We have robots do human work; artificial intelligence;
mobile devices that can do more than large computers in 90's. We can SEE ALL these things - and took 1 generation.

Mathew 24:

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be..

It seems the way God structured end time events is on an ongoing basis.

People are expecting one big bang, but instead it is a slow process.

Israel became a nation in 1948 -

Then in 1948 the beginnings of the EU. The treaty of Brussels made way for the common market.

From that, it evolved into a huge entity called the EU. Next, it will complete the revived roman empire. It's almost there.

Also, one that many don't recognize - the prophecy that 1/3 of the oceans will be destroyed. The
destruction of the entire Pacific Ocean is happening right now and there is nothing anyone can do to
stop it.

This is how everything is happening - slowly, hardly perceptible, and all at once people will wake up
and wonder how it ever got to this point.

Other events Jesus picked.

These events have to be noticeable/notable - affecting the entire world.

Knowledge will increase
people will run to and fro
worldwide economic collapse should be looming

The man of sin the Antichrist shall come after the great tribulation has began during the time of great chaos after the fall of world into a lower dimension in which his spirit can occupy flesh. Knoweth ye now the world changes and behold in days of his reign behold the blood sun and blood moon, for the sky's shall not be blue but red, for world becometh more as hades as his presence remains.

Behold his throne shall be from Israel and indeed he shall be called King and God by mankind, for in those days mankind shall believe the lie. Few shall see the truth and he committeth the abomination of desolation which is grievous of all sins and evil and it openeth the bottomless pit into the world.

Ye whom loveth God, be ye good and let not evil overtake for follow Christ example and endure in those days, hateth not thine adversary but agree with him quickly, hold unto the peace knowing in spirit you give your life for your faith in Christ and are justified as the first fruits unto God. For remember the promise that in the day of burning in the revealing of Son of man to world at end of the great tribulation those whom have died in Christ name whom upheld the requirements of righteous whom await with Abraham and the prophets in the spirit world, they shall be resurrected and brought up.

Therefore fear not the death of flesh but have fear for your souls for what cometh in future seeks to claim thine souls, he whom is without God in those days is as a man whom runneth into a burning house without protection from fire, whoms flesh becometh burned and choketh upon the smoke. But he whom is with God is as the man whom haveth protection and saveth the life of the lost, and he burneth not nor choketh on smoke.

In Mathew 24 one of the first things Jesus tells us is not to let anyone deceive us.

He says this before he gives any end times prophecies.

So what would be the purpose of saying this so early in the discourse?

Mathew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 or many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

There have been deceptive people since the beginning of time.

But there will be the biggest deceiver of all - the antichrist, performing miracles and wonders - so awesome he fools even God's people.

We have all these things taking place today that Jesus speaks of in Mathew 24.

The most important point to make is earthquakes, famine, disease ALL these things are in diverse places.

In Jesus time or for many centuries afterward - How could anyone know what was going on in diverse places?

Today we can see an earthquake and essentially anything we want through the internet. Not only that we can watch most of these events live.

He tells us many will be offended and now we know political correctness is off the charts. He also lists iniquity will abound love grows cold. These human behaviors have gone way overboard.

So I've come to the conclusion when Jesus warns us of an event - it won't be small potatoes.

Therefore, I am thinking that we are going to get some humongous earthquakes, many deaths from famine and disease. A very scary thought.

Another reason I believe we will see a great deal of deaths from famine and disease is because
everything Jesus says in Mathew 24 has a comparable verse in Revelation 6; i.e. 1/4 of the earth population
is killed from famine, disease, wild beasts and death.

The antichrist is the one who will stand in the "holy place".

An item of controversy is - will the temple be built
that the antichrist defiles?

Many say it doesn't have to be built, others say there will be a physical temple.

I'm leaning towards the temple being built - or the
replica used by temple mount faithful to train priest.

How do we know it will be a temple?

Well - there are several sources supporting this belief.

One is Paul - being an x-pharisee he most certainly should know what a temple is:

2 Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you..and that man of sin be revealed

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

We Also have daniel in several places telling us he will stop the daily sacrifice and declare he is God in the temple :

Daniel 12

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

-------------

There has to be a temple/physical structure, or how could the daily sacrifice be done?

I can't say for sure who it is or what it is because I am only human, subject to error.

All I can do is read what God and Jesus tells us, pray to God for an answer and see what happens.

What I see in print in the bible is:

Jesus says it is an abomination whatever it is - and it can stand; I'm assuming on it's own. Therefore it is probably a man.

Paul tells us it is "himself" = "he" = "man":

2 thes 2

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Until proven otherwise I'll stick with it being a man.

We refer to this person as the antichrist - because John tells us anyone who opposes Jesus and God is an antichrist.

There will be many antichrists - but only ONE who goes into
the temple and declares he is God.

Jesus in Mathew 24 - tells us there will be many false christs,

and cautions us to let no man deceive us.

Re: Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
God gives us prophecies like a large puzzle.

If you take all the prophecies of Jesus scattered through the Old Testament there is little doubt it is Jesus i.e. he was sold for 30 pieces of silver, died for our sins, pierced in his side, born in Bethlehem, 100's of prophecies more.

Yet the religious leaders had all the prophecies and still missed him - and are still missing him today!!

Same with the end of the world.

Once all the pieces are together we won't have any doubt.

But I think we will be completely surprised who the "evil one" is standing in the holy place, the same way they missed Jesus.

Re: Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
To the OP of this thread and anyone else who has been misled by false teachers concerning Matt 24 and what Jesus said.

First of all, they WERE prophecies. Secondly, Jesus said that THIS (meaning the people he was speaking to) generation will SEE these things. Thirdly, those "things" happened about 40 years after Jesus said them.

They are NOT about modern day times. NOT NOT NOT

Anyone who READS the account can figure this out.

Three questions were asked of Jesus at the beginning. He answered their first two, and the answer was ALL ABOUT what was to come in 70AD.....the destruction of Jerusalem by the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place. (that being the Roman Army destroying the temple, and how to escape that judgement)

The third question was about His return. And He said there would be NO signs. NO warnings. So if you are looking for earthquakes, wars, rumors of wars, etc to WARN you of Christ's coming......you have been FOOLED AGAIN.

It is VERY simple folks. Prophecy has been FULFILLED IN CHRIST. There is ONLY ONE THING LEFT.

Christ's return/our judgement. And again, if you think there is a SIGN to look for, you are sadly mistaken.

The Word tells us that ONLY the Father knows that day.

I'd sure like to know how you can see the antichrist in the temple from a field - 40 years after Jesus.

When he said you can see earthquakes and disease in many places - he meant it, literally - but not quite then.

The antichrist rules the entire world - not just a small piece of it.

The New World Order is the entire world - not a small corner in the world.

We have never had the experience of the Great Tribulation or the gog magog war yet.

If we did - Jesus would be the ruler of this world and he isn't just yet.

Soon though.

There are 100's of prophecies the bible talks about for end times - I've given but a few.

Around 40 or 50 more are here:

Here are a few of those prophecies:

1a) Israel will not be defeated by her enemies once she is gathered from all the nations of the world - Well, She hasn't. Notice this is well before the Millennial Reign. Isaiah 54:17

Israelis early history was one of being defeated. God tells us in end times - no one will defeat her. The 6 day war was one of amazing miracles for Israel:
godssecret.wordpress.com/2010/10/05/miracles-in-the-six-day-war

Here's a war that hasn't happened yet - but appears close:

There will be a Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38) that starts with God putting a hook in the enemies jaw, drawing them down to attack Israel - subsequently God supernaturally destroying them, so ALL heathen, and Israel finally recognize God and fulfillment of the promise that NOW All Israelis return from the 4 corners of the earth. Ezekiel 39:25.

1) Israel becomes a nation again, after being conquered and inhabitants dispersed throughout the world. This has never been done by another nation. Ezekiel 36,37:22 and 38; Jeremiah 30 - 31 Isaiah 43 etc. Note: This event signaled start of end times. Since 1948 things have been
steadily marching towards end with prophecies consistently coming true:

2) Globalization and New World Order. We already are a global economic world order, and some even refer to people in the world as citizens of the world. It's obvious we are headed to a new world order. Rev 6 - lst seal, Rev 13 - Dan 7:23 he "and shall devour the whole earth"; Zech 9:10 He will come in peace and his dominion shall be to the ends of the earth.

3) The global government will be able to track all the people in the world. This was impossible until now. How? - Computer databases. Apparently - we are already doing this. Rev 13:17 - True

4) God told Abraham he would be the father of many great nations and descendants too numerous to count. At present the population of world 7 billion and counting - why is this important? Because all inhabitants of the earth will be required to take mark of beast-and it can't be done without computers. (rev 13). Genesis 15 - 17

5) We now have the ability world wide to worship an image of the AC that the bible says will move be alive and speak (All will worship it). This was impossible until now - How? With smartphones, webcams, TV, satellie etc. This will be a worldwide requirement.

How will this be enforced - we already have cameras in our TV's, smartphones etc. Rev 13

If you notice all end time prophecies involve entire earth/world not one or 2 nations.

6) Jesus said we will be able to *SEE the AC defile the holy place, while in a field/on rooftop. How is this possible? with smartphones; also the 2 witnesses lying in the streets in Jerusalem, and SEE them ascend into heaven. We will SEE God judging Israel's enemies Ezekiel 39:21. Impossible until now. Math 24, Dan 7 - 12, Rev 11:7

7) knowledge will increase - and how. As described above. Amazing development in last 50 years, and has increased Exponentially last 10 years than last 6,000 years. This had to happen to allow AL bible prophecy to be fulfilled. Dan 12 - True

Here we have God telling us we will actually witness the action taking place in the gog magog war (notice it says ALL the nations):

Ezekiel 39:21
—

“I will set My glory among the nations; and all the nations will SEE My judgment which I have executed and My hand which I have laid on them.”
15.

Did you catch that? “All” the nations will “SEE” God’s glory and judgment. Today, we are living in the first generation in human history where because of the miracle of global satellite television technology people in every country on the planet will be able to watch the prophecies of the Bible come true before their very eyes

(Math 24:7)

Only in this generation has this been possible - at these websites:

ds.iris.edu/seismon/;
outbreaks.globalincidentmap.com/

You missed the hidden context.
The Jewish disciples ask Jesus about His return to Israel, to the chosen people(the Jews) as prophesied by the prophets. So these are the things Jews will See and Hear, not necessarily the entire world.
Verse 2 says "see all these" referring to the temple stones, but does not mean for the world to actually witness the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. Only the Jewish people. So no Internet or technology is required.

The destruction of technology as we know it will occur either before or around this time anyway. If you know Revelations, Ezekiel chapter 39 and Zechariah chapter 14 and also interpret them just as literally, you will see this.
For these armies use no modern technology or weaponry in attacking Israel. Thus logically, none exists.(you don't bring swords, spears and horses to fight machine guns, planes and tanks).

14 But when ye shall SEE the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
