To the OP of this thread and anyone else who has been misled by false teachers concerning Matt 24 and what Jesus said.
First of all, they WERE prophecies. Secondly, Jesus said that THIS (meaning the people he was speaking to) generation will SEE these things. Thirdly, those "things" happened about 40 years after Jesus said them.
They are NOT about modern day times. NOT NOT NOT

He said there will be a time that we would SEE from a field or rooftop some person standing in the temple:
Only possible now with smartphones.
He said we would have political correctness that will be prevalent around the entire world. many offended. sooooo true.
He said evil would abound - boy does it.
He said his word will be spread to all nations. So how is that possible without mass communications?
Mock him all you want - because he said you would do that too.
Not only that - christians would be hated for spreading the word.
Also he said knowledge would increase worldwide.
These are only a few prophecies true today-
They all have to be true at same time and they are!!
I'll go with someone who is 100% correct and not man who knows nothing.
