Anonymous Coward User ID: 53271185 United States 02/07/2015 03:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The scariest part to me is that, while they've cast this huge dragnet over the entire populace of the country, they aren't even attempting, in the very least, to prove it's worth. If they want to keep terror threats quiet, fine. Yet, any abductions, missing children, weapons or prostitution rings, organized crime...why aren't they using their surveillance to curb these? Much less advertising these facts in an attempt to mitigate public opinion and skepticism. Why aren't they using it for good? It's all nefarious as hell. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41128873 United States 02/07/2015 04:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | whining about your privacy being invaded while invading the privacy of others...welcome to glp. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67793557 Not really whining, friend. It's an opinion, often shared on community message boards such as this. Got anything useful to share, or just *whining* about others' posts? How do you know they aren't? Because the media doesn't tell you they are? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66048410 Well, you're right, I don't know empirically, yet common sense and knowing the current administration's penchant for self promotion, I expect that yes, it would be all over the news in an effort to give the public some confidence that all this spying is in their best interest. Look around the news, the same people that have offended many times prior, are getting caught be the same old means. They very repeat offenders that they should be paying attention to. NSA would be all over it like stink on a monkey if they could spin it in a "public safety" manner. "Security", after all, is their middle name. Let's see it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67793557 I'm not defending anything, 93557. It is what it is, and you're here as well. Wanna talk, or do you prefer to just keep slinging child-sized turds around? Keep attacking the guy that is saying that glp invades your privacy, while defending glp in a thread about online privacy, if you want. Shill. |

I'd be interested in your opinion as an outsider to the US, but all you seem to be interested in doing is tearing down the platform you now are trolling on. I'd say you're the shill here, yet I don't think anyone would pay you for this circular dribble. |
