Let's say King Abdullah really does go after ISIS and actually does defeat them. To do so he's going to have to control large swaths of Syria and Iraq. At which point he can claim the rightful heir to those areas. People will love him and not care because he wiped out ISIS and be hailed as a hero. Next he could offer a chunk of Jordan to the Palestinians and give them a homeland. He could also offer Temple Mount access to Israel. These acts would make him the peacemaker. See what I'm getting at? It would be very easy to be sucked in and fooled by a leader that wiped out ISIS and brought real peace to the Middle East. So before you jump on the King Abdullah II bandwagon just think, he could be the Antichrist. Don't poopoo this idea thinking he's great. That falls in line with the majority that are deceived. RAGE |

Islamic state is the most powerful ground force there, has more fighting experience, AND I've been seeing these clever bastards starting to set traps in small towns and cities that they can afford to lose. Large BOMBS and such. Allah bless you |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67899965 Is there actual evidence that the US initially funded ISIS? All I have been able to find is the following: The claim that "ISIS is a creation of the CIA" is made by a former CIA contractor named Stephen Kelley. The only link I could find to him and the CIA is that his company 'S.K Industries' made lasers that were possibly used by the CIA; seems like the lasers were used on guns. Otherwise I know that ISIS captured some military vehicles that were given to Iraq by the US after ISIS overran the Iraqi bases and took Mosul airport. There is also a document that analyzes the origin of the weapons ISIS uses. The results show weapons from US, modern Russia, Belgium, Croatia, Saudi Arabia, and Austria amongst others which may have been purchased, given, or captured. [link to conflictarm.com] Or are we going as far back as Iran-Contra and trying to link that to the current conflict? |

Will you never see these guys are playing all sides against each other to keep the opposition fragmented? That way they are able to keep control without a unified opposition. |

They have a very capable modern army and air force. The US has equipped them with most of what they have, ISIS is no match, and the King is pissed. Not going to go well for ISIS. I'm tired of waiting, somebody push the damn button already! Keep your 72 virgins, give me one old biker chick. |
