Re: Valentine's Day Exposed - Pagan Origins
he is an idiot

he says the world needs to stop celebrating valentines day ???

uhh? hello .. the only people who celebrate it are people with lovers, or those who are married. not the entire world.

also if it was a form of control to keep a sick occult thing going, then they would "make sure" everyone celebrates it. all people. no matter what. which they "do not" do.

valentines day has always been a choice. whether you have a lover or not, its still always been a choice.

he is just an idiot trying make himself sound smart.

yes there are some connections to the past, venus, cupid, eros, aphrodite etc.

but i'd hardly call it occult control, LOL

whatever

Re: Valentine's Day Exposed - Pagan Origins
until americans commercialised it, valentines day was the one day a year a married woman could have sex with another man.

it had to be the first man they saw after the rise of the sun. men would congregate outside married couples houses to be seen first by wives they fancied.

the husband had no recourse, duals over it were forbidden. he could watch if he wanted.

i've read diaries from 17th century england, and i assure you this is the truth.

the 'valentine' was the man she chose. st valentine was a man.

Excerpt from the article attached:
"The Romans celebrated a Pagan holiday on February 14th to honor Juno Fructifier, Queen of the Roman gods and goddesses as well as goddess of marriage. In one ritual, women would submit their names to a common box and men would each draw one out. These two would be a couple for the duration of the festival (and at times for the entire following year). Both rituals were designed to promote not only fertility, but also life generally."
