What is with 'Post-apocalyptic' and 'Apocalyptic' over saturation in all our facets of entertainment?

They're providing what the masses want. Peoples lives are generally boring routine. Disaster, apocalypse and dystopian movies and TV shows are "exciting" and different.

I think that's it....

Entertainment today is a government or authorities most effective weapon....

When I wall by a gym and see people running on a treadmill watching TV I share a laugh with myself...

Since the denoted meaning of "Apocalyptic" means to Reveal, then Post Apocalyptic then would mean, TO Hide.. to Occult.

"They" are merely telling us that it is time that "they" are going to be Hiding and Occulting all sorts of stuff.

The media has tapped a group conscious awareness. One that is telling everyone deep down inside, that this madness we call every day life, can not continue.That it is self destructive.
So they exploit that by providing possible Apocalyptic scenarios of that self destruction.
They probably really do not understand the dynamics of it, just that people like it and it makes them money.
Most people are aware on some level that things are not "right", Hollywood's business is to tune into what our deepest desire/ fears are and make movies about that, in this case, an end to the everyday madness.

So in the end I guess you could say that what was not left.....

There are regional variations, some places have been apocalyptic since time immemorial, but we're all trodding toward that same promise of doom.

It could be some kind of conditioning. To prepare the American populace (and whoever else is plagued with apocalyptic media) for a real life scenario. It's easier to control a population during chaos when they've been desensitized to chaos.

I think what's going on:

TPTB have hidden so much of what they've been doing behind the scenes for so long.. to further their agendas, etc.

They've realized so many of us are becoming aware of much of the hidden stuff.

Seems that in order to try to hold onto as much control as possible, TPTB may be 'flooding the market' so to speak, with as much disinfo as they can.

In order to .. what? Numb us with a complete saturation, in every area? Distract us from one area with a saturation in another area?

One tiny example.. ever tried looking up images online of different ET races that supposedly exist?

Just in doing that, there is a FLOOD of images/pics/videos about ETs. There are pages of photoshopped images etc that I have to wade thru, just in trying to find ONE actual image of a true ET, say one at the Roswell incident.

Pick any subject, try looking for the actual, and you'll get to wade thru all the disinfo about it online, before ever getting the true info.

Something else I just noticed this past week or so.... regarding online searches. Normally, I put in a very specific request, and find the info at the top of the search list. Lately tho, what has been returning near the top is that info with an 'Islamic' explanation. Even Bible verses, for example.

WTF??? I asked for a KJV verse, not an Islamic verse!

Seems someone has been very busy 'flooding the market' with info we aren't asking for, while pretty much ignoring what we are.
