The opening of parallel worlds/dimensions for the wrong reasons and uninvited are not going to end well...Opening up a portal into an unknown world that can let things/beings into this one would more than likely destroy all living matter...even HUmanity...

On the reverse side of the coin...The world that this opens up could/would become infected with everything here...thus killing innocents that never asked for such contact...

It is like giving a monkey a loaded gun...these scientist do not know what they are really aiming at...Maybe this is what destroyed the past civilizations that were also technology advanced...Playing god when they could not even play nice in the sand box with other children...

Just watched hellboy 2 and happend to notice the cern lhc in the back ground of a few scenes has anyone eles noticed this ( the gates to hell athe end and just after he beats the tree monster and he is getting stitched up you will notice it in the back ground)

Most definitely they have been implanting the thought which you noticed in that film. But above, it tells us that the writers and pharisees go about, win over converts, thereby making the convert a two-fold son of hell. Therefore, CERN is a distraction and a probable setting up of a lying sign or wonder....keeping our eyes looking there so we never come to understand who and how we are made two fold children of hell.

I listened to a video by Michael Tsarion called "The
Origins of Evil."
One of the points that he made was that there has been
an on-going "war" of sorts between the original ETs
who supposedly tampered with our DNA (I say "supposedly" because this can never be proven one way or the other...)
and those "higher beings" who have championed the human
cause from early on.
There have been efforts by these "overlords" to destroy
humanity many times through our history on this planet
--Atlantis was one attempt--and that almost succeeded in
wiping us out. Well...think about it. They have used
the "elementals" to extricate humans from this planet
and it hasn't worked--we always managed to survive.
Maybe THIS TIME they are letting us advance with our technology to the point where we NOW have the capacity
to destroy ourselves. Maybe CERN is the latest bid by
the "evil ones" to eliminate humans in greater numbers
than they could ever accomplish with earthquakes and
floods.
Seems logical to me--considering that Tsarion is correct.
(And, like I said, I'm not sure if I buy his theories....
just putting it out there for discussion!)

Interesting timing for that new movie, as well...but the San Andreas ticking time-bomb has been a scarey doom topic for many years.

Ever since 1909 with that 10 pt. quake in San Francisco.
(I call it a 10pt. quake--Wiki will record it as a "9.0"
but they have changed the earthquake measuring system
from the old "Richter Scale" that was used from 1909
thru the mid 1980s and DROPPED the reporting magnitude
by a factor of 1,000. So that a quake that is reported
as a "9" is actually a 10 pt. That is a HUGE difference.)

The Columbia quake today, then, would be reported as a 7.3 pt. rather than a 6.3pt by today's measurements. Many people
speculate that TPTB knew that the quakes would increase
in magnitude and frequency going into the 2000's and
they decided to revamp the Richter Scale so it wouldn't
scare people. If the increases continue, you can expect
them to "tweek" the measurements DOWNWARD again.
