I can't imagine any scenario where Snowden would want to return to US soil unless he felt he was about to be picked off in Russia....so this must be a fact. But why? Has he given them all they need or not enough?

I think he sees the writing on the wall there and figures if he comes back with remorse, he will fare better than if he gets knocked off in Russia....

Suicide, austerity into early grave, delayed medical care or acceleration of dying process due to a combination of factors rending a patient unsuitable for medical intervention, the stress of debt in a jobless society, the assault on our bodies from the air, food and water. We are under siege globally. We, the middle class but also the poor class and elderly may face the day when living is priced out of their range. Touring and taking cruises will be priced out of our range. Taxes will hike up our living standards until we are homeless or collapsed from overworking. This is a business plan.

They have working on this for decades. Another approach was available to them. They chose the most painful way to exterminate human beings possible to man. Evil only begins to describe them.
