He's given up on the possibility the American people could change the system. As he said, his biggest fear is that nothing changes, and it has not. So it was all for nothing really. Collection of every move we make is going to open up every crevice of our sometimes complicated lives, where fleeting exploration and experiment may label a person as being in a category he is not. Depending on who is collecting this data, the power held by could be used to intimidate, provoke, destroy, blackmail, and lead to desperate actions.

I... we have been tricked, yet again into contributing to and paying for our own persecution. The court system in this country causes the blood to drain to my feet. I can see how someone could get lost in the system just because of a technicality or vendetta. NSA spying has revealed who is "with" and who is "against" and every law enforcement agent, military member, any in leadership who uses electronics has long ago been determined whether they are an asset. The good guys are being tossed into the shark-infested sea (sea of snipers) while the bad guys are bribing and extorting they way to the top. The media is the only messenger. when the lights go out on the internet, it's over for us. History will not reveal the details. This is more serious than you believe, serious enough that one might say, ending is the same which ever road you decide to take. I believe they will do anything, even blow up us all and tell us it was a fireball or another country. Nearly all countries are members of Agenda 21. Predatory lending has left countries at the mercy of the banks or face starving masses numbering in the millions. They'd get torn apart. This army around us and the spy apparatus is to cull the herd of dissenters and undesirables/useless eaters. Suicide, austerity into early grave, delayed medical care or acceleration of dying process due to a combination of factors rending a patient unsuitable for medical intervention, the stress of debt in a jobless society, the assault on our bodies from the air, food and water. We are under siege globally. We, the middle class but also the poor class and elderly may face the day when living is priced out of their range. Touring and taking cruises will be priced out of our range. Taxes will hike up our living standards until we are homeless or collapsed from overworking. This is a business plan.

They have working on this for decades. Another approach was available to them. They chose the most painful way to exterminate human beings possible to man. Evil only begins to describe them. They despise us. Hate our neediness, our indignant demands, our noisy world where diapers and empty beer cans litter million dollar views. They hate us for reminding them they have more than they need.

I can't imagine any scenario where Snowden would want to return to US soil unless he felt he was about to be picked off in Russia....so this must be a fact. But why? Has he given them all they need or not enough?

I think he sees the writing on the wall there and figures if he comes back with remorse, he will fare better than if he gets knocked off in Russia....

the heat is on and he is ultimately a coward. He will choose the easy path. He is too much of a coward to suicide.

I'm also curious as to if he has given the Russian government secret information as part of his asylum. I would like to see him return to the U.S. and stand up to TPTB. I just think it's funny that the NSA was doing something that was illegal in and of itself, but yet they want to charge him with espionage for exposing their illegal activities. Kind of a double standard.
