The camera's not as high resolution as the SBIG camera, but the quality is quite high for planets and the moon. For those dim satellites you get a lot of noise with it since there's no thermoelectric cooling but I went with it anyway because you also get continuous video instead of having to wait for the long full frame image download times on the SBIG camera.

I would be lost in space for hours on end

The ones I looked at were in the 500 range -- I was actually surprised. Much less expensive than surveying equipment
